A list of puns related to "Canadian Territory"
Something got me thinking about this the other day.
I live in βthe countryβ in northern Yukon territory, and I visit Inuvik NWT once a year or so because a few people Iβm close to live there, Iβve also visited Yellowknife once and that was nice. I visited Ottawa in Ontario province in 2017 because itβs our capital and I was overwhelmed by everything there. The culture was so unusual to me that it felt like I was in a different country.
People living in the provinces who visited the territories and vise versa, in what big ways does the culture and people differ from the provinces compared to culture and people in the territories?
Hello! I have returned once more to share the fruits of my boredom! While I haven't quite summoned the will to make that off-map cultural empires color/flag swatch thing, I have managed to find enough to do this: maps with the approximate borders of US States/Mexican States/Canadian Provinces/Territories/Other Countries!
Ever wondered what your State/Province/Territory/Country would (approximately) look like on the province map the game provides? How about the cultures/religions inside of it? Or how it measures up compared to the de jure setup? What about the realm setup at game start? If you want answers to any of these questions (again, approximately), I've got you covered!
It is worth noting, however, that I based these approximations more on the names of the provinces/capital baronies than the real placement of borders, so some things may end up looking a bit odd... but, without any further ado:

EDIT: While working on some other boredom-project related to this, I realized that I had neglected to add the Mexican state of Aguascalientes! Woops! Sincerest apologies to any HidrocΓ‘lidos/HidrocΓ‘lidas out there!
I understand that the Northwest Territories had representation, but when the populous regions became Alberta and Saskatchewan in 1905 the rest of the territory lost it's representation. What was the reason for this, and why did it get reversed in 1947?
Hey y'all, I've been trying to do my own expanding to the HPM mod to make the USA a bit more fun to play, up until now I've made an event to make it a monarchy and to take Canada and the Caribbean colonies either by war or by buying them. However, while dealing with the latter option I can't settle on something I'd consider a fair price for those colonies. So, if y'all were the king of the United States back in the 1850s or so, how much would you pay for Canada? And the same question applies for the European possessions in the Caribbean.
Also, diverging from the main focus of the post, I feel that after all that expansion the name USA, despite still making sense, is a bit bland and not as poetic as one would like, so what would you call an union between the kingdoms of America, Canada and Quebec? (if you want to take the Caribbean possessions into account for the naming you're welcome to, but I believe they are insignificant enough to be ignored in this process)
And fellow Canadians, how many Americans states can you names?
Let's see who knows more about who
