A hypothetical race between main characters of street racing media, those who made JDM everyone's dream car. They are in a friendly race to prove who is the fastest out of them. Everyone in the street racing scene are looking forward for this race, and the winner will get all the street cred in the motoring world.

The main character of Initial D who drives a 1983 Toyota Sprinter Trueno, the model better known as AE86. Since childhood, he drove his father's 86 over and under Mt Haruna, delivering tofu. With years of driving practice and his father's directions, he is able to crush his opponents save his father, even opponents with faster and stronger cars.
The 86 has been modified throughout the series, from the first battle with Takahashi Keisuke up to its final engine failure. In this scenario the AE86 will be in its final setting, with a Group A racing engine that can perform up to 12000RPM.

Despite its old age or its supernatural aspects, this car has been heavily modified to be the fastest wheel in Tokyo, owning more than 600 HP under its bonnet.
