A list of puns related to "Boy Player"
I got my GameCube in 2003 when the price dropped to $99.99, got the Zelda Collectors Edition for free as they were giving them out with a console purchase at the time.
I had just got Game Boy Advance SP a few months before and loved that as well as itโs backwards compatibility to Game Boy Color and Game Boy.
Then I became aware of the Game Boy Player for GameCube and that was a dream come true for me. I remember is was $49.99 but well worth the price. There are some GBA and GBC games that I have never even played on handheld and only played them on GameCube.
The Game Boy Player easily helped make GameCube one of my all time fav consoles. Also introduced me to some awesome GBA, GBC, and Game Boy games that I might have never bought.
When Kuch went down I said โDammit. At least last year showed that we will be ok during regular season.โ Then Pointer went down. This was also around the time Vasy was struggling some so I kinda went into a little bit of a panic. I was just hoping for being in striking range of that 3rd division slot or wild card so when Kuch and Pointer came back, maybe we could make a strong push.
But WOW! Stammer is playing vintage puck, defense is helping Vasy more, young guys are stepping up in huge ways and Perry is really coming into his own. In a very weird way, itโs almost a good thing that Pointer and Kuch are sitting out because it feels like the rest of the team had to develop chemistry and fast. Mission accomplished so far.
Obviously I would rather see Kuch and Pointer play. I donโt like seeing any players get hurtโฆ Even players on VGK. But maybe there is a silver lining to their time off.
Lets just get few things out of the way first.
So here is the gist of what I found out.
If you are using all the published material at the moment the player characters will be unkillable in the worst possible way. I would say in un fun way. Basically only way to kill players is if GM is using encounters that are completely unbalanced, for example encounters that are deadly for similar group but 5 levels higher. Any other thing will only be attrition to players. In other words - spend some resources.
So what is even challenging than?
If you play it by the book and follow guidlines provided in DMG or published campaigns. Fights will be so laughably unchallenging and one sided, that they are nothing more than a waste of everyone's time. You can just same say : You win, mark 3 spent spell slots. And move on. However if you want players to feel excited and challenged, only way that really works in 5e is by literally dubling number of enemies. You see solo but harder enemies are absolutely no obstacle for 5e D&D party, but large groups of even weaker enemies are.
But we encounter another problem here. Tedium. If every fight has double enemies, than fight take very long time and game is boring. And on the end player character spend all the resources, so they need to rest. The game is just getting slower, not more challenging.
To add insult to injury, there are classes and combinations, that can only really be hurt by only very specific means, and they resist everything else. So even making the game challenging for them means that GM needs to tailor monsters for them. But that feels cheap. Imagine player that can only be hurt by electric attacks, now suddenly every enemy has some kind of electric attack.
So basically what 5e is right now, is players being so powerful ( and players love that, obviously ) making the game boring for them. No challenge whatsoever. Fights that are just pointless time wasters, maybe on road to one boss fight that is maybe a little bit challenging.
The big problem as everyone knows is the power creep in 5e books, where every new book ramps up the power options ( in order to sell copies ). If players let say only use Core book, the game is relatively balanced and fun. But will all books its completely lost.
Problem is that
... keep reading on reddit โกI donโt have a lot of time + money to spend on genshin so seeing Albedo do a lot of damage with subpar artifacts and minimal investment makes me happy to have him :3
Will close in ~24 hours
Sullinger has had a stellar international career and has slimmed down since leaving the NBA. I'd love to see what he could do right now.
RJ Hunter, Shane Larkin, Vincent Poirier, and Stojan Vrankovic are all guys I wouldn't mind giving a Covid roster spot to.
Anybody in free agency right now that you'd like to see the C's take a look at?
