A list of puns related to "Bonnie Langford"
Hey all,
Iβm going to be interviewing Bonnie Langford and Katie Manning who played Mel Bush and Jo Grant, respectively, in Doctor Who for the Science of Cinema event.
If anyone has any questions for them then please comment them below and I will be sure to ask them.
Cheers, Dave.
Iβve been dipping my toes into Big Finish (there is so much that they give out free that I only just started buying. If youβre a Whovian looking for a fix, and the style of the Classic show doesnβt rub you the wrong way....) and have found their sales excellent ways to get a cash strapped college student some Who to listen to while doing chores, or walking, or cooking.
In honor of Mel Bush actress Bonnie Langfordβs birthday, BF has put all her audio adventures for sale at half price. This means many of the monthly adventures she lends her voice to become $1.49in total! $1.49, for between 2 and 4 hours of quality entertainment! The most expensive thing available is $20 for a massive conclusion to Colin Bakers character, which is in my wishlist but I think Iβll put off getting for a while. The rest is less than $8 an adventure.
So, Big Finish and Mel fans, which ones should I get? What are the top notch adventures with Mel-preferably with Colin Baker who I grow to love even more every time I think of his previous audio stories?
I've seen a few things about people not liking Mel in the past, but I had never seen her episodes until recently. I didn't mind her, but then I listened to a few audio dramas and I loved her! Is she not well liked, and if so, why?
#BIG FINISH PODCAST NOTES/MISC. DOCTOR WHO NEWS ROUND-UP
I would like to apologise for my podcast notes last week. Iβll be honest, I was in a bad place, things happened, and I gave you notes that were missing lots of things, filled with errors, and just sloppy. You may not have noticed, but I did.

Whilst we don't know the details, we know Lauren Cornelius has been recording more First Doctor Adventures. Assumably the AAISAT crew have been as well, and potentially Carole Ann Ford. And one assumes Peter Purves. Sadly, I doubt William Russell has, Jean Marsh even less so. Maureen O'Brien has possibly done recording, but it's difficult to say as she's someone who can't really travel far, and obviously pandemics makes things worse.

14. The Companion Chronicles: The Second Doctor Vol. 3 | George Mann; ?? | ?? |
After being delayed many times, with still no confirmed release date, the fact that remote recording has occurred seems that whatever issues that plagued the release have potentially been solved, and we may get news soon. Otherwise we do know there's a George Mann penned Dalek story, read by Frazer Hines, that at this point logically couldn't be anything but a Companion Chronicle.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
#BIG FINISH PODCAST NOTES/MISC. DOCTOR WHO NEWS ROUND-UP
Itβs a beautiful Spring day. We only get one of these days a year, so next weekβs going to be miserably hot and Iβll want to kill myself (which isnβt anything new). Also how the fuck is it nearly October? Not to sound like an old person, but Jesus this yearβs going fast. Anyway, enjoy memes Iβve stolen from Facebook, and listen to an underrated classic.
PODCAST NEWS
Interesting tidbit, the option for Chris Eccleston to do more 9DAβs was always there, but it was immediately after recording Ravagers was when he accepted to do more.
No plans for more Unbound stories (I imagine due to BBC mandates more than anything), though Nick mentioned he had an idea whirling around his head for an Unbound story.
Nick seemed to imply thereβs a spin-off in the works regarding the Companions (including recast companions), in the very early stages though.
No more plans for Eric Robertsβ Master at the moment, though Nick has no doubts they will do more with him.
No plans for adventures with David Tennant and Freema Agyeman, though purely due to the fact they are both incredibly busy and have separate schedules.
NON-PODCAST DOCTOR WHO NEWS:
The title for The Ninth Doctor Adventures Vol. 4 is out: Old Friends.
β¦.Oh and thereβs 12 more 9DAβs announced, whoβd think Iβd be saying that atβ¦..like any point two years ago.
The Sixth Doctor has a new companion, joining Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
