A list of puns related to "Baker Street Robbery"
In September of 1971 a branch of Lloyds Bank in Baker Street, London was robbed.
The story is infamous, but for those of you who dont know, The Baker Street Robbery was a burglarly inspired by the Sherlock Holmes story of the "Red Headed League". Essentially a band of criminals would rent a shop, dig a tunnel 40ft (12m) long underneath a Chicken Shop and then tunnel upwards into the bank vault to eventually rob 268 Safety Deposit Boxes. For a fictional retelling of the story you may have seen the 2008 film "The Bank Job" starring Jason Statham.
Notably, to this day no one knows exatcly what was stolen from the safe deposit boxes or their worth. A conservative estimate would be that they made off with Β£500,000 in 1971 - worth a cool Β£6.2 Million today ($8.5 Million US), but rumours abound that the true value of what was stored in those Safe Deposit Boxes was not in their financial worth, but their political worth.
In 1970 Anthony Gavin conspired with second hand car salesmen Reg Tucker and Thomas Stephens, and Benjamin Wolfe to rob the Baker Street branch of Lloyds Bank.
Tucker would open an account at the bank with Β£500 aned rent a safety deposit box. I have never had a safety deposit box, but it is apperantly customary that you are left alone with your box for security concerns. Tucker would use these periods of isolation to measure and map the vault using his Umbrella and his armspan, he would also utilze the regular size of the floor tiles to map out the dimensions of the vault. Using this information he would draw up a map of the vault.
During this time Thomas Stephens acquired the necessary equipment for the job, including a Thermal Lance and a 100 ton Jack.
Lookout-men, Explosive experts and Alarm experts were also brought in. As were two unidentified men cited in Wikipedia as "T.H" and "Little Legs", and an unidentified woman.
Shortly After in May 1971, Wolfe rents a Shop at 189 Baker Street called "Le Sac".
Due to road works being carried out, the trembler alarms in the bank had been switched off and between the August Bank Holiday Weekend meant that there would be three days off (Friday thru Sunday + Monday Bank Holiday).
I will skip the details of the digging, but if you wish you can find more info at the wiki link. Suffice to say they dug their way through the bank vault between August and September, a full month of digging in cramped, confined spaces. Using a Thermal Lance and Gelignite to breach the Vault.

Watson asks, "where did you get so many lemons from, Holmes "?
To which Holmes replies, "A lemon tree, Watson."

First off, glad no one was hurt.
Second off, the place is called Hot Streak and the picture seems to show a bunch of...gambling machines set up all in a row?
Is this some kind of jack leg casino or something?
Anyone ever been there?
Google searches are not much help.

Just saw the email we got about the two armed robberies - one of them was this morning right by Trader Joes at 10:45 AM. I always figured it's probably a good idea to not wander around at 3 AM but damn can't even buy lunch at TJ's?
*Typo - I meant Eddy Street
