We all know that organic reach on social media for a business (B2B) is a minuscule fraction of what it used to be, so what's the point of yelling into the void? Furthermore, the only organic reach you're really going to get are the people who have gone out of their way to like/follow your page, are those people the buyer of your product or more likely users/fans that don't buy your product at the business but are just the employees that use it? For example, employees may like the FB page of Monday(dot)com, but is the person in IT who purchased it following the page?
So to me it seems like regular posting on social media is just to please a CEO/CMO/Executive who likes to see their own company on social media but it's not actually driving any new traffic or making significant impressions on people who already know my brand.
I gladly spend TONS of money on paid social, I just can't justify using salaried employees' time to keep up with organic social.
Tell me why I'm wrong!
Hey everyone.
We are a team of 2 people with a startup based in Portugal, and in the past few months we developed a web platform and a mobile app to help local and online businesses. (E-Commerce)
Since the product is almost done, we are in a situation where we need to contact companies to show our product and see if it fits in their business model.
The problem is that we don't have any experience in B2B and our networking is only family and friends.
So, what do we need to do to start building a network?
How should we approach companies? Using LinkedIn?
Finding the right person to talk and write a message explaining why their company can benefit from our product?
Should we ask only for a meeting without explaining the product, and leave the explanation for later?
These are a few questions that we are working and discussing daily.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
I know De Jong and Declan Rice is too expensive but just if you got a chance to sign any player which it would be
Spurs will travel to Phoenix to face the Suns on Monday night.
Also, sadly I have to bring this up as a moderator but don't be douchebags. Don't brigade on the Warriors subreddit. If you wanna talk trash, do it on r/NBA or other media sites.

This is a stark departure from their schedule so far. It will be interesting to see if they keep the #1 seed after it, especially considering Steph is in a slump right now and it's not realistic Klay would have significant impact in the next month.
To those doubting Memphis, that team is so hot right now, nuff said. Cleveland is there too, forgot to put them in the title.

I've not done B2B and neither have a few other local DJ's so we were going to get together and have a practise session. Venue owner is happy to have some DJ's in playing and buying beer, and is aware it' s a practise session and is fine with that so it's all set.
I was thinking of making it a little more fun by making it more challenging as we are all there to learn, so was Born Cards against DJ's.
Cards I've some up with so far.
Pick a Song that has variable BPM for the next DJ to mix into.
Pick a song in a different genre than the current one.
Pick a song from a genre you know the next DJ doesn't know.
What other cards could I make up, that
a) Are a bit of fun.
b) helps us improve our DJing
c) Helps us do b2b better (So I guess this is aimed at the DJ's who've done this quite a bit, what would you like to see your next B2B partner be good at/know / think about.
Thanks for all your thoughts.
We manufacture chocolate. Specifically, our niche is pretty high end and expensive. There are a ton of cheap sources for chocolate and weβre not one of them, and never will be.
Our retail and online customers get it - we do well. But for some reason, chefs and restaurants keep contacting us for bulk chocolate and when we tell them our pricing, and explain that weβre sourcing far better ingredients (paying our farmer partners up to 8x more than the commodity rate) they keep asking why we canβt go cheaper.
We sell 2oz bars for $10-18ea, wholesale half that. We sell βbulkβ blocks starting at $15/lb, which barely covers our costs. But they keep asking us for $5/lb or even less - itβs just not something we can do, nor are we interested in doing it.
Chocolate is seen (particularly by chefs) as a fixed cost item and they complain about the price, though some chefs get what we do and even pay more for super rare origins because there's a huge difference in taste.
I donβt know if we want to start throwing words like βluxuryβ around, because itβs more about paying the farmers a fair price for their work and not exploiting them. What we usually end up saying is that βitβs not that our chocolate is particularly expensive, itβs that all other chocolate is artificially cheap since theyβre using slave labor.β But chefs just donβt care. Customers on the other hand love our chocolate and say that we've ruined dark chocolate for them since they can't eat anyone else's chocolate after trying ours. Many of our customers have been coming back for many years, and word of mouth helps in addition to gifts our customers buy for their friends and family.
The problem is just the chefs, and maybe 1% of our retail customers who come in who balk at paying more than $1 for a chocolate bar. We explain, and usually customers get it, especially after tasting it. Chefs are another story.
I get it; restaurants are on a super thin margin, but just charge an extra $2 for your dessert to cover the cost!! We explain this and again they balk.
Soβ¦any advice for explaining our position in the market? Weβre not Hersheys.
Edit: Here's our site. I guess we're looking for feedback in maybe making a page or slideshow explaining that our stuff tastes noticeably better?
Hello I want to sell about $60,000 inventory and want to make sure how can I proceed with this should I prepare any legal documents or anything else? Should I ask for payment after they receive the goods?

> Bold prediction: Stephen Curry will break the NBA record for most career 3-pointers on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.
> I'm told that the Warriors, though, are strongly weighing a night of rest for Curry on Monday in the first half of Golden State's Indiana/New York back-to-back against the Pacers. That approach would significantly increase the odds that the leagueβs current MVP favorite passes Allen in his lone MSG appearance of the season in Tuesday nightβs date with the Knicks.
> You could scarcely propose a more fitting stage for the milestone, given that Curry was selected by the Warriors with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft β one spot ahead of the Knicks β and since his 54-point masterpiece at The Garden on Feb. 27, 2013, is widely regarded as the game that began to establish him as a must-see, floor-bending phenomenon with his long-range marksmanship. As the excerpt contained in the tweet below shows, Curry himself told me in 2018, nearing the five-year anniversary of that game, that he viewed it as his βcoming-out party.β

If you are in B2B SaaS,
What's in your top 2 marketing challenges?
Context. Iβm almost 1 year into a role as a first time PM at a B2B start up but want to move into B2C. Can anyone tell me what the major differences are in the B2C role and skills required?
Also, Iβm growing a little tired about how things are going at my company and would like to make the switch. Iβm not sure if only having 1 year experience is enough and I guess Iβm not sure how to answer my reason for wanting to leave so soon. Is saying I want to move in to B2C enough. In my previous job I was working on consumer as a BA and really enjoyed it so I think I would be a little happier making the switch. Anyway rant over. If anyone can help with the question at the very top of this post that would be much appreciated.
I know B2B has a longer decision making window and content as lead magnets work well for education but what other things did you learn when making the switch? Whethers it's content, PPC, or overall funnel strategy. I'm curious to hear from those that have made that switch.
I came from B2C and have been in B2B for ~8 months now.
In my B2C sales experience, I was quite efficient in creating urgency and closing deals quickly.
It's an entirely different ballgame in B2B though. The deals I worked in B2C often were completed in 1-14 days. I feel like I could talk to my customers all cool and mirror them entirely and use curse words and talk about THEIR lives.
Versus in B2B everyone is uptight and corporate and closed mouth business only. Everything moves so slow. Deals are worked over 3-6 months mostly, but could be as short as 1 month or as long as 12+ months.
I was a hammer in B2C but I could be myself completely and have zero filter and make the customers like me.
In B2B I feel like when I try to create urgency it's really not all that urgent.
Sending over documents for legal to review, NDAs, etc. often go with many days in between replies, sometimes even weeks....and that's 100% normal.
It just blows my mind how laissez-faire people are and working deals.
From my B2C experience, I was taught now now now now urgency was everything. In B2B it seems so laid back and it's kinda like send an email, if they haven't responded in 4 weeks maybe make a phone call and send another email....give it another 2 weeks and send 1 more email....then just give up and close out the opportunity as lost.
I mean I understand to focus on people who are reciprocating the energy and will...BUT I also think I could benefit more for being more persistent and annoying to my prospects to move things along quicker.
How did you learn to walk the fine line of being annoying and pestering vs moving things forward quickly and sticking to your timeline in B2B?
I hear a lot about how the amount of calls needed to actually have a conversation vs no answer is increasing a lot.
Back in the day it was 3 calls, then 4, then 8, etc. But now industry numbers are showing as much as 20+ calls just to have one legit conversation which (as many of us know) might be 3 seconds long.
I get drastically different answers when I ask SDRs individually and Iβm sure industry, ICP, data tools, etc influence this metric. Would love to hear from some of you.
Enjoy!
His informs were already amazing but this card is insane. I don't care what the stats say - he'd be worth 600k+.
I play him with a Gladiator card mainly to boost his shooting.
He feels ridiculously quick because of his short and lean body type - even without a pace boost. So smooth and fun to use for dribbling.
He has 99 stamina and is absolutely everywhere when defending. Even has the AI defending trait that makes Kante so good. Except he never misses a pass Kante.
And his shooting stats are a lie - his long shots and even finesse shots are cracked. He already has 90 positioning as a base stat which is ridiculous for a CM.
And honestly, his 3 star WF is not even noticeable when passing.
If you were nitpicking, the only fault is his 3 star skills. But you are rarely skilling with a CM.
You could even play him as CDM if that suits.
I can't see him leaving my team for a while. If you're for a B2B or CM, try this card out.
Anyone wanna run some bodgans? Mic is not needed, and i'm looking to run it like at least twice, if You're interested leave me your username

I watched a webinar where a participant remarked that B2B content writing is changing as more millennials are moving into purchasing roles. But she never got to develop this idea.
What do you think she meant? How is writing for a millennial B2B audience different from what companies have been doing up to now?
Hey y'all! First ever Reddit post, here we gooo
Moved to London in September from Aus and have met a few lovely folk, pretty much all of which through my gf who is Londoner, very keen to meet more lovely people and especially ones who like to go to gigs, of any variety, in this case to go see an epic lineup which turns out to be the last ever show at the Drumsheds. Whoever is keen please drop me a message either on Reddit or insta (haggard_guest) where I have temporarily turned my account off private, I'm a teacher lol, and we can make plans to have drinks before or just meet there.
