A list of puns related to "Asa'ad Bin Tariq Bin Taimur Al Said"
I had the privilege of living in and travelling through Oman for a couple of months last year up until Corona came about and sent me back home. Even then, in just a short period of time, Oman managed to climb its way up to the first place on my list of favourites. I will be back. Oman hasn't seen the last of me. And I certainly haven't seen the last of her.
I was in the country when Sultan Qaboos passed away. May he have found his peace. The mourning was devastating but moving at the same time. I felt the sadness in my heart of hearts. With Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said following up shortly. Domestic politics in Oman have seemed to taken a fast turn.
With all the recent talk about Omanization, I was wondering if someone could update me from a national perspective. How is the process taking shape? What are the reactions and consequences? What is your take?
Today, the Atlas Corporation invites Sultan Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said of the UEF to Outer Heaven, the city created from the space they had given us years ago. We wish to give the Sultan a tour of the city, as well as to the main office, for a meeting on further cooperation between the Atlas corporation and the UEF.
A boy of twelve caused a disturbance in downtown Muscat today, after publicly claiming to be the son of long-deceased rebel, Shihab bin Tariq al Said, who was the brother of the previous Sultan, Taimur bin Assad al Said. In an unexpected event, the boy, said to be called Akil, shouted this statement in the middle of a busy market square.
He is rumoured to have a great deal of knowledge for a boy of his age, with many reports coming in from his teachers and people close to him, that he is not a person to be underestimated. Alongside his claim to be the only son of Shihab bin Tariq, the boy scorned Sultan Saamir, and denounced him as a "war-like, decadent scoundrel" and "a disgrace to the glorious Said dynasty that fought for peace". Continuing, the boy blamed Sultan Saamir for the death of Sultan Taimur, citing that "Taimur was a strong, healthy man, and despite his past trauma, he would not have gone out so easily". He suggests that Sultan Taimur is still alive, held prisoner by his enemies, in order for Sultan Saamir to gain power (which would have happened under no other circumstances apart from a coup).
This boy's speech spread like wildfire through Muscat, causing many to question the validity of Sultan Saamir's claim on the throne of Oman, as if what this boy claims is true, he would be the one true heir of Oman (being the nephew of the previous ruler). There has been no official response from Sultan Saamir on this matter, however inside reports say he is furious that so many people could be swayed by a prepubescent child.

Sultan Taimur, a man of 40 years, has yet to acquire any wives over the course of his busy life. This is a problem for succession and the prestige of the Sultan.
In order to rectify this and attempt to produce an heir, Sultan Taimur has announced his engagement to Princess Samira bin Muhammad al Saud, the daughter of King Muhammad al Saud of Saudi Arabia. The Sultan hopes that this marriage will bring the two countries even closer together, and will bind the nations for the future.
The ceremony is expected to take place next year, in the Royal Palace in Muscat, and all world leaders are invited to attend (excluding China, the USSR, and Romania). Sultan Taimur also hopes that amongst all the war and conflict, that a wedding will bring the people of Aden and further afield together in a holy union of companions, akin to matrimony.
> βBrothers in Islam! We now have the enemy in front of us and the deep sea behind us. We cannot return to our homes, because we have burnt our boats. We shall now either defeat the enemy and win or die a cowardβs death by drowning in the sea. Who will follow me?β - Tariq Bin Ziyad
If he actually said this, what made him so sure that he would take Spain?
