Fixing Up Miss Smartypants - Arkensaw Pinkerton
Major Spoilers Below
Well, I feel sheepish. Not two weeks ago, I slapped The Party Never Ended's hand for introducing too many ships and here I am enjoying a fic with a freaking armada (puns!). The story starts with Big Macintosh revealing to AJ that he took Miss Smartypants in order to start up a conversation with Twilight, whom he likes. Applejack had her heart set on Big Mac and Fluttershy being together so she tells him that she's going to try and fix the two of them up. Big Mac, still desiring Twilight's affections, asks AJ to take Miss Smartypants to Fluttershy to get it fixed up but AJ gives it to Rarity instead. Meanwhile, the Cutie Mark Crusaders have decided to try their hands at matchmaking. These seemingly simple beginnings quickly build into an immense bundle of misunderstandings and crossed storylines.
Have you ever watched Doctor Who? Don't worry, I'm going somewhere with this. If you haven't, don't worry, you'll probably still get what I'm saying. Anyway, when I first watched Doctor Who, I couldn't get into it. See, I had gone in expecting something either more serious or more silly but it was neither of those. It hit right in the middle. I dropped it for a bit before giving it another chance. I realized that Doctor Who isn't something to be taken seriously. Even though it hits that middle point of semi-serious, semi-silly, it's main intention is to entertain. This may seem obvious but not everything is meant to entertain. Battlestar Galactica, LOTR, and Assassin's Creed are all examples of series more invested in their stories then the entertainment of the audience but that's what makes them entertaining. Doctor Who isn't all too concerned with the big picture unless it will provide entertainment later. It focuses on what it's doing right here and now and doesn't concern itself with future episodes. Such is the way of Fixing Up Miss Smartypants. I can't take it seriously because it doesn't concern itself with being taken seriously. It's a story that revels in what it's doing and watching it make
Tenno,
Thanks to player reporting, we’ve noted that the Fomorian Sabotage and/or Razorback Armada are fully constructed and ready for their appearances on all platforms, but haven’t taken place yet. As much as we’d like to say that Vay Hek just has some lingering holiday Turkey brain and forgot, these limited-time events are initiated manually server side and won’t be able to go live until some of our team return from some well deserved vacation.
Sorry for the delay, we expect to launch these in the near future and to also simplify the process for future deployments. We’ll update here with details for their launch when we have them.
Thank you!
I loved playing Armada back in the 2000s, but trying to play it on anything modern has been difficult for more than a decade. The GOG version works fairly well on the MacBook Air M1 computers, although it is only officially available on Windows (which I haven't tested yet).

I've been thinking about getting into Armada since it looks really cool and I've heard good things about it, what stuff do I need to buy?
Obviously GOAT discussion is a hot topic, but I am curious on how well Armada would actually do in Melee today compared to everyone else still playing. How would Armada do against iBDW, Zain, or any of the current top performers?
To be specifically, Emplemon's 5th Never Ever video.
Armada has deleted it off at some time ago and I would like to aqquire the highest quality resolution possible.
I recently got a bit of attention about my pair of Armadas that were mismounted. I wanted to update what the store did as many wanted to know. When I got to the store they got them remounted for me and all holes plugged all for free and refunded my original mounting. Then I was told a pair of skis have already been ordered for me and will arrive later in February. Then lastly they gave me a 50% discount on anything I wanted that day. So I am extremely pleased how this all turned out they presented me with all of the best options no haggling or complaints were needed.
Hey everyone I asked this question earlier in the associated thread, but since no-one answered I guess it wasn't noticed. I have the chance to buy the Republic and CIS starters for 60€ each (about 68$). Is there enough content included enough for a 400 points standard game?
I was thinking about getting into Armada quite a while now, but never pulled the trigger because of bad accessibility of the most ships in my area. As it seems most of the Armada content is available atm or will be reprinted in the near future (Venator). So shall I give it a go or not? 😅
As we all know, GOG partnered with ViacomCBS to re-release the back catalogue of classic Activision-published Star Trek games for Star Trek Day on September 9th. It took until December for Star Trek: Armada and its sequel to be added. Unfortunately, the online services for Armada discontinued in 2008, and Armada II's in 2014. Being older games, the few communities that rose in the wake of the shutdowns were fragmented and small. A huge part of the draw of these games is being able to play against other people. How exactly are we supposed to do that?
This question kicked those of us in charge over at /r/StarTrekArmada into overdrive, laying down VPN infrastructure and significantly revamping our Discord server to help players network together. Beginning in January 2022, we'll be hosting bi-weekly events for players new and old to learn how to play and compete against one another in all of the following games:
Right now, we have a poll going on in our Discord server to help us determine which game will be the focus of January's events. We'd love to see you there, and we'd love to have a chat with you over at /r/StarTrekArmada, too.
In the market for a vehicle to replace our 2013 Pilot for a family of 5. Really need cargo space and have been looking at the 3 vehicles. Here are the specifics:
2018 Armada with 50,000km 2019 Armada with 80,000km 2022 pathfinder new
All 3 vehicles are the same price and under dealer warranty. What would you all do and.or recommend. The vehicle will be purchased
I hope it's okay to mention here that two classic real-time strategy titles, Star Trek Armada and Star Trek Armada II, have been updated to run on modern operating systems and are now available on GOG.COM :)
