Arica Harbor was one of my favourite maps in BC2. I loved the infantry play, and how the map changed as the round progressed. I was thrilled to hear it was returning in 2042 through portal. A few plays on this map has shown that it's a great remaster graphics and presentation wise, but the map plays completely differently due to a completely different layout.
I understand that they made a design decision to expand the playable area in conquest to include the dock area, however, the map now plays completely differently because of the lack of objectives within the city/market area. I get it, 128 players on a 3 flag map would be a nightmare, however I do wish they would have put in a "Classic Layout" option for those who chose to set up their portal experience that way. If anyone at DICE reads this, it would be great if a classic layout was added.
I have an awesome group who was my first dnd group, who I now run a game for. The party mainly consists of a bloodhunter, samurai fighter, and gloomstalker. Party is level 3. The gloomstalker player dishes out huge damage, which I already expected since i played one. But the issue I'm starting to run into, is the fighter having a good intimidation, and constantly trying to intimidate every enemy, and almost always getting good rolls. Any advice to counter this to keep every enemy from constantly being intimidated?

its crazy how much better the portal maps are, even on conquest. the new maps are so large and empty, it takes away the pace for infantery. playing on arica harbor was so much fun, because you have different levels and cover to hide without running for 5 minutes to see the first enemy.
pleace dice: bring new maps, but the size of bad company 2 or bf3 maps. and scratch 128 players. it doesnt add positves to your game. it hurts the performance and the fun - its just markeing. you know it, we know - just scratch it. thank you!
