A list of puns related to "Angel Of The Lord"
In my opinion the best part of 'The Lords of Silence' was the fantastic characterization of Vorx and the Death Guard. We really see a sense of hierarchy, brotherhood and respect between the old legionnaires and their primarch that we don't see in other traitor legions.
Vorx himself is one of the most interesting traitors since Fabius Bile - and I highly recommend reading the book just to experience him. I chose to share this excerpt as I feel like it highlights Vorx's love for his primarch. A love shared by many of the Barbarius-born Death Guard - but not the Terran born Death Guard.
The primarch is there, there, less than a kilometre away, surrounded by his Deathshroud in heir hulking, frost-encrusted plate. Even at this distance, his presence is absurdly dominating, slewing the entire battle about its axis. His dun-grey cloak whirls about him as he strides into contact, gilded with the last traces of translation energy. He is tall, lean, pale, an outline of gaunt strength. Vorx finds himself pausing, absorbed before glancing back at Camanio.
The Blood Angel is wearing his helm, and so his expression is hidden. Vorx hears the faint crackle-hum of a vox-bead in use and guesses he is saying something to his squad.
'Magnificent,' Vorx offers, trying a third and last time to build a bridge between them. 'The primarch accompanies us. We are honoured indeed.'
Then Camanio turns, properly, shifting his weight onto his front foot, which sinks into the sucking mire. He comes closer. 'My warriors are asking me, how can anyone follow that skin-and-bones wretch and call him "primarch"? I do not know what to tell them.'
Vorx does not react, stunned. Camanio is already moving again. He is advancing pushing on towards the joint objectives. His words ring in Vorx's ears - aristocratic, the casual contempt slithering from them. For a moment, Vorx considers taking the blade to him, crashing him to the ground and wrenching those words back from that over-proud mouth.
His warriors advance on all sides, unaware. They trudge on just as they always have, uncomplaining, efficient, closing on the goal. They have a task ahead of them, one now witnessed by the primarch himself.
Skin-and-bones wretch
Vorx moved again, anger swilling like hot oil in his veins. He picks up the pace, determined to remain close to Camanio when the walls are breached.
I do not know what to tell them.
The ignorance. Vorx thinks darkly. The ignorance.

... keep reading on reddit β‘6 And the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying,
7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.
9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
Jesus was the only man that called every man his neighbor under the fig tree and vine. The bible also uses in that day in reference to another time or incarnation.
Is it possible Meclhizedek and Joshua were also Jesus incarnations? The bible tells us Melchizedek was also begotten by Christ and he was called a Son and said to be... Not yet made perfect.
Jesus also tells us he knew Abraham which Melchzidedk did.
They would jeer, "Sucks to your aasimar!"
So im kinda took the approach of reading certain books in horus heresy, skipping some that i find not that interesting.
But now i cant find the book that talks about war between dark angels and Night lords just before Imperium Secundus. Can someone point me the right direction?
If you are a member of the Darkstar, turn away now.
One of my players has a running joke that his character summons demons. He makes deals with evil gods, stole the grimoire of demon lord summoning and resummoned them, and is currently sacrificing people as his Warlock. But once, while struggling to find a devil he could make a fair deal with, he loudly yelled: "Screw this! I'm going to summon the Angel Lords! There are demon lords right, so they must have an opposite, right?"
Divine intervention is meant to be a special thing, and angels are a rarity in most campaigns. But deciding if a world shaking threat is too much for mortal kind, you would think a god would want their up and coming cleric/paladin to know they had the backing of the light.
I see the sense of it; evil is generally the weaker willed or easier option. People wouldn't be evil if it didn't make them stronger. Devils can be hired, paid to assist in gold and blood and evil deeeds. But angels are beings of good, and protection. Even if there's a calling to let mortals tend their own affairs, when devils or krakens become involved, should deities step in? Even if they won't, might one of their followers descend to aid regardless?
So, would you summon the Angel Lords? Figures of good and power, perhaps strict even, when faced with evildoers. Would you put in your world active celestials, not just roaming demons?
It was part of a picture posted onto here a while ago, at the time I wasn't able to take down the source: all I remember is that it's about a demon lord or even just satan himself raising an angel like his own daughter, apparently as part of a long game plan of his. If this sound familiar to anyone I'd like the name of it, I tried looking up the premise on Google but got a different anime(that imma be checking out as well now).
Could someone please tell his fine a** to speak the f**k up into his mic so we can hear what the hell heβs saying?
