A list of puns related to "Ampere"
I've already been planning out a loop for my system and as of yesterday may have secured a 3080 Founders Edition. I was looking at available blocks for this card and EK only make the Special Edition Quantum Vector block for the Founders cards. Whilst I like these blocks, they won't go very well with the rest of my planned build, and they're ยฃ100 more expensive than the blocks available for AIB or reference cards. I was hoping to be able to buy a more standard looking block. Any plans in future to make these, or do I need to look elsewhere?
This is a genuine question.
Iโm from Japan and Iโve never seen anyoneโs name being used as a unit of measurement in my countryโs history.
If So-and-so David finds a new unit in this modern age, are we going to name it โa davidโ? (I know we wonโt, but I canโt explain why to myself)
So with the new Ampere hardware slated to be rolling out this year (probably) what do you think its implementation is going to be like, for example:
*Are Nvidia going to replace the Tesla T10 (2080c/d) and keep the existing Cascade Lake CPUs from the current server blades.
*Or roll out a completely new RTX Server based on the AMD Epyc platform as their new Ampere servers ignoring GTC 2021 are running Epyc.
We can safely assume that the GPU being used is the A10 recently launched, being that its in the same 150w power envelope, has Direct X 12 Ultimate support and has 24gb of VRAM the smallest of the comparable Ampere server GPUs in performance.

I get it. We're all here because we love PC. Because we love the process. We love the hardware.
But take a step back and realize how entitled you guys sound about this-- and this is coming from someone who lives in a developing country who, I believe, never even got a single card at all.
It's been established that AIB partners will make up a bulk of RDNA2's stock, and that it will come out over the next few weeks. Nobody asked you to line up on day one. Nobody told you you HAD to get one on day one. Plus, you guys KNEW the amount of demand that was there with the pandemic forcing the need for PC hardware to skyrocket up.
All I'm saying is, check your privilege. The fact you guys even get to complain about SIX HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLAR CARDS this is a privilege in itself.
I'm excited for the release too. I understand the justified frustration. But can you please, PLEASE, do yourself a favor, and take a step back to get your head together, feel frustrated for a moment, and get on with your lives? It's not the end of the world as you know it. You will be okay. The cards WILL come, eventually.
I have to take my final on Sunday and I feel that I am pretty okay with the concepts of different topics. However, I find myself at a loss with integration. I did well in Calculus 2/3 but I can't seem to convert that into a physics setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am thinking of getting a 3060ti for running some MD simulations. I chose this particular gpu as it offers 4800+ cuda cores. I'm using an 3700x cpu, 16 gbs or ram and samsung 970 evo plus ssd. Gromacs is installed on wsl. Nvidia's website did claim that the 3060 ti's architecture, Ampere, is good to go with Gromacs. Unfortunately, I could not find anything along these lines on the documentation. (Perhaps I was not looking hard enough? If so, a nudge to the right direction will be hugely appreciated) Is the software compatible with the hardware I plan on using? And realistically, how many nanosecs can I achieve per day with something like a 3060 ti? (I know it depends on the system, I am looking for user feedback, so please mention the number of atoms in your system along with the performance data) I currently own a 1650 oc. I was wondering if it'd be capable of achieving 200 ns/day on small to intermediate sized systems? You can suggest a better card, but I can afford to spend 700-800 dollars max, preferably 700 or lower. I know I can't get a 3060ti at this price range now, I am thinking of waiting and getting one at the end of this year when the market finally settles down. Or should I go for a second hand 1080 ti?
I have no one to help me work through this problem and I don't know if its the way I am inputting the equation or if I am just solving incorrectly.
Thank you!

Buongiorno. Non avendo limiti di Voltaggio e Amperaggio, per caricare la mia futura Tesla , cosa mi cambia da Wallbox e una presa rossa 32A trifase? In ognicaso caricherei a 11KW?
Grazie

Powered by the Ampere architecture, GeForce RTX 30-Series is finally upon us. The goal of this megathread is to provide everyone with the best information possible and consolidate any questions, feedback, and discussion to make it easier for NVIDIAโs community team to review them and bring them to appropriate people at NVIDIA.
We are hosting a community Q&A today where you can post your questions to a panel of 8 NVIDIA product managers. Click here to go to the Q&A thread for more details. Q&A IS OVER!
