A list of puns related to "Airgun"
Im getting into small game hunting with the intention of possibly making it a primary food source along with fishing and so with learning this new skill I'm trying to think of issues I might run into and one I've seen a handful of times is needing a follow-up shot. If I miss my mark or a shot doesn't get full penetration for whatever reason, I don't want an animal to be suffering for my mistake.
So for my own peace of mind I plan on bringing something with multiple rounds for a follow up shot if need be plus just not having to reload as often as a convenience thing. Even a 5 round bolt action would be fine if power is a concern with other options.
I was looking at the Sig Sauer MPX personally but I'm worried about the CO2 system not delivering the force I need. Theoretically the Sig is an American design and needs to be tuned down for my local laws so there shouldn't be an issue with the power but I've gotten a lot of comments telling me that it's still a concern without much of an explanation as to why.
Can anyone recommend some good hunting rifles and any solid tests to see if a gun would work prior to using it on an animal
Iβve heard bad things about gamoβ¦ Like the magazines suck with tho things plus the scope sucks as well. Not sure what airgun to go with. Donβt want one thatβll break on me
I made a poor decision of buying an Edgun Leshiy 2. Not that it's not a good gun. I just don't find shooting enjoyable. Got bored after a couple of shots. And EdgunWest doesn't take returns.
Now I'm in the conundrum of trying to figure out how I'm going to sell it.
Does anyone have any suggestions where to sell my gun?
I was thinking eBay, but they take quite a bit of a percentage off the top.
Then I need to sell my yong heng as well.
I just mean is it durable and will it not break from being used for what its intended to do.
Hi, so I'm going to buy a crossman m4 type air gun (not airsoft) and I'm wondering whether it's legal in the UK to have an airgun all black or do I need to get it two toned like airsoft, thanks all who respond
Hello,
I am interested in purchasing an air gun. Help with rodent issues and pests. I live in a dense community but have a yard set up to avoid ricochets. Before I purchase I have some questions to be answered
One, the simple meaning of an air gun. I have told that co2 guns won't do the trick. They're more for fun. But to resolve an issue is an air gun. An air gun from what I've heard can either have compressed air filled into a tank providing a few good rounds or a pump action. These are considered both air guns I'd presume?
Two, which one is more costly effective for my situation I'm basically killing rats, raccoons, and squirrels. Protecting my city garden for next year (educate now invest before spring)
Three. A pump action rifle seems to explain it's self. But what about ones that require compressed air? How would you go about doing that. I know a compressor would work but more like equipment and possibly special tanks to help. Reusable tanks or one time buy? If both are options what would recommend?
Four. I've also read propane can be an option? Differences between air? Issues especially safety seeing propane is flammable? Is one more economically feasible than the other.
Five. Something quiet would be ideal. Any recommendations off of your interpretation of said questions above would be a solid factor, and I ask for you opinions as such.
Six. Basic cleaning and maintenance
And I'll say one last time,
I am a beginner. So, whomever takes their time with this explain as such. Would be appreciated if you can add links to rifles, ammo and appropriately needed accessories as such. You can send me links explaining each other questions to avoid hastle. I'm just having a hard time appropriately navigating and gathering opinions.
Happy end of the year
Looking for a reliable and powerful gun, preferably being able to find at a store here in the U.S.
Just shouting out to all you Airgunners in Reddit land! I've been using Airguns as hunting tools for over 30 years and enjoy a good amount of time in the field. Currently I have a good assortment of higher end PCP's from .22 up to .357 calibers. I'm an avid videographer and run my own channel called Mountain Sport Airguns where I document most all of my adventures. Looking forward to some trips I have planned in the coming weeks. Cheers

Like grips and silencers?
I'm thinking 7 year olds have the strength to hold/fire one?
So recently this community helped my issue of a twanging in my springer, advising i lubricated my spring.
So far I have removed the stock, I have removed this pin at the back of the cylinder, and I am pretty much stuck from there. how do I remove the spring guide and get into the compression chamber? I canβt seem to see any obvious thing after removing the pin and it doesnβt seem to have done much. If needed, I can take photos.
Although I am not very experienced at taking apart airguns, I have done airsoft (although not that similar) I am confident I can have a go.
Any general help will be very much appreciated, and if need be, the airgun I am taking apart is a βmilbro ACCQR8β
