A QB has won the NFL MVP 17 out of the last 20 times it has been awarded. As it stands it's a 'QB of the year' award, not an MVP award. Having a "Tom Brady QB of the year award" in addition to MVP would let QBs get their hardware while opening up the MVP to all the other positions... making things a lot more interesting. This is one thing MLB gets right with the Cy Young and MVP awards.

I feel like SM has been sending their artists to award shows and they're not giving the stages any extra flair. MAMA and KBS song festival probably being the biggest examples. I will say at Gayo Daejun, they actually gave aespa some background dancers, and NCT 127 & Dream had a cool dance stage that combined Hot Sauce, Sticker and Favorite. However, Universe just got a regular performance.
This is like, idk, weird, especially since SM usually gives their artists these elaborate VCR's, sets, hella dancers, stage remixes, and we're just seeing none of that. I don't know if it's due to covid, but it's pretty disappointing that the biggest entertainment company yet the artists have been working with so little for the award shows. Aespa has been breaking records as a rookie girl group, and sales wise, NCT has had their strongest year ever. Red Velvet didn't even perform at MAMA, but at least their Gayo Daejun stage was pretty.
Like I don't know what's going on, but it's weird. Less effort, less money, but maximum views and sales??? Is reward season conflicting with SMCU stuff??? I don't know, I hope 2022 the artists are given really good stages.
