... keep reading on reddit ➡I have Optimum so I can stream games on the YES Network site. Every time I do, the stream buffers and slows down, and it's interrupting live play. When it picks up, I have to click live to get back to the live play. Tonight happens to have the game on ESPN, where I never have issues like this when streaming any games or other programming.
I'm just curious if anyone else has these issues while streaming?
I really thought when I got my CCNA I would have more time be able to back off of studying for a while. But while I push myself when I'm at work to learn and get experience, I find myself always studying for the next cert. CCNA>>AWS-SAA>>CCNP>>Fortninet>>>(more CCNPs)>>Maybe CCIE next year....So, I always lab, always read, always watch videos, get burned out, rest, right back into studying more. A big push for this is that I actually want to be useful at work. I don't want to be that guy that just shows up, gets by on what work I can do, and just collect a check. Many of my friends at work and former co-workers that I'm still friends with have this in common. But, it takes so much effort and so much time that my wife I know wishes we had more time together, my dad is convinced that no one can possibly study as much as this (even though I know my co-workers do) and I'm pretty sure he think I'm intentionally ignoring him at this point (we had to move in with him after mom passed this year). The thing is, for all we do and all we have to know to be on top of our game and the time we put in, are we really more selfish than we think we aren't? Getting ready for my CCIE and I'm sure it'll just get worse. lol "CCIE Widow" isn't a term I think that got made lightly. At the end of the day, I think we do this work because 1) we love it or at least at some pint did and 2) we want our family to have a better life

Some of the most fun times I remember on BBSes from back in the day were just local, unconnected boards. No Fidonet or any other inter connectivity. Just little, isolated islands. They had chat, files, games, etc - just no connectivity with other boards.
And they were fun!
Are there any BBSes that still operate that way? Or is everyone connected to message and door game networks these days?
I am aware that the network was being updated. Is it still in progress? I have many transactions which I don't see on creeper, but I can see them as pending in vault. I dont see anything in Kalium. It has been 2 days since the last transaction went through.
Why don't we have a pinned post here about the network upgrade situation? I understand that there is a Discord and Telegram group with some info, but I dont use those platforms. Anybody else having issues with watching nets games on the YES network website? I've tried watching the last 2 games and it would intermittently pause and restart every few seconds. Not sure why - I've streamed nets games on other sites and have no issues with other video platforms like netflix, youtube.

Ill get straight to the situation: Yesterday I checked the device list on the home network and found some sketchy shit. The list stated that some devices, belonging to one particular girl, were last active pretty recently. November 20th (05:55) and 29th (15:30) are the most recent times I found.
This is my issue: My bf and I know this person, but she definitely didn't come over on those days. Pretty sure me and my bf were sleeping at 6 in the morning on the 20th. Backstory: She doesn't seem weird at all, but she did like my bf for a while.
Am I understanding this network list correctly? I thought you needed to be close-by to use the network? Are the time stamps inaccurate?
