A list of puns related to "Wang Hao (chess player)"
Also says that Wang Hao's game against Nepo was the worst of the tournament and Alekseenko and Wang Hao don't belong in the candidates.

To do this I used fide ratings. I still take classical more into account than rapid and rapid more into account than blitz, this is because I value calculations more than intuition and pattern recognition. For that reason this is very much a subjective ranking. Also, this is a ranking of the players of April 2021 therefore this will only take into account players who are playing rn (no Kasparov, Fischer, etc...)
My methodology is multipliying the classical ratings by 6, the rapid ratings by 2, and the blitz ratings by 1, adding it all up and then dividing it all by 9.
Let's take Fabiano as an example: (2820*6+2773*2+2711)/9= 2797,44
Doing all this gave me this result:
20th Dmitri Vladimirovitch Andreikine,
19th Jan Krzysztof Duda
18th SerguΓ©i AleksΓ‘ndrovich Kariakin
17th Alireza Firouzja
16th Leinier DomΓnguez PΓ©rez
15th Wang Hao
14th RichΓ‘rd Rapport
13th Viswanathan "Vishy" Anand
12th Shakhriyar Mamedyarov
11th Anish Giri
10th Teimour Radjabov
9th Wesley Barbasa So
8th Hikaru Nakamura
7th LevΓ³n AroniΓ‘n
6th Aleksandr Γgorevich Grischuk
5th Yan AleksΓ‘ndrovich NepΓ³mniaschi
4th Maxime Vachier-Lagrave
3rd Fabiano Luigi Caruana
2nd Ding Liren
1st Magnus Carlsen

"Dear Hao,
Do I understand your last message correct? You just do not want to play in the Candidates anymore? Or I misunderstood it?
Shall we take it as if you just wish to play next door to your apartment or you think about reasonable and feasible solutions as well?
Best,
Arkady"

WCT uses rpb differtly than Wang Hao, so I was wondering about it
Which one do you think has the best chance to be the "global" a.k.a foreign member of the group formed this season?
Do you think will any of them will make it or none or maybe all of them will make it?
Fabi's pic has me feeling some type of way though.
As of 17.35 CEST Wang Hao is on course to gain the spot in the Candidates due to his superior Tiebreak against the competition. If he is drawing his equal game against GM Howell only the winner of the game between Alekseenko against Vitiugov can surpass him (machine gives +0 after move 25 there).
This is due to Wang HaoΒ΄s tiebreak (rating average of opponents: 2734), beating everybody else clearly (Aronian`s tiebreak is 2706, Nakamura has 2672).
Caruana and Carlsen are not eligible to qualify for the Candidates obv, so the top spot is Wang HaoΒ΄s to lose with his possible score of 7,5/11.
I wanted to get this out earlier, but had some things that came up at work, BUT here's the newsletter π.

Not sure why the images aren't showing with the link I sent. They do show up in the email. π
Wang Hao is the greatest Table Tennis player in recent history. He's simply the best penholder of all time. Change my mind.
For the pen holders out there, how does wang haoβs index finger not slide up and grip around the handle? I find it extremely hard to keep my index finger right below the handle in the space between the rubber when doing RPB. Is it the sanding? I tried sanding my blade based on his image online but the problem is still occurring and I donβt want to sand too far.
