Anyone running a T/CR22 with a Vortex Crossfire II Rimfire 2-7x32? Low or medium rings? Will I need to remove the rear right?
Just ordered a TCR22 and the listed scope. Haven't received it yet, so I cant measure and opinions online are few and far between. Some think medium, others low. The ring itself will be the Vortex Hunter rings in either low or medium. Im leaning towards low, as id like it as low as possible given reasonable clearance.. The only thing holding me up is the rear peep sight on the TCR. Even with the sight removed, the dovetail sits up quite high on the receiver. I suspect some people weighing in are referencing a standard 10/22 and are not taking the TCR exclusive sight/dovetail into consideration. Anyone with any insight on this particular setup like to weigh in?
