A list of puns related to "Vitruvian Man"
I already have about 30 hours in total in this game I did ALL the puzzles of the object 16 and I did not stick out with the achievement I was very disappointed I have 80 feathers and the campaign is finished. Can it be fixed somehow without restarting the game? I playing on XBOX360.
Early space suits were notoriously hard to move in. When an astronaut pushed an arm or leg out of its resting position the air pressure in the suit would increase, resisting the movement. Imagine a balloon shaped like a stick figure when it's inflated. Now image you bend it's knee, or it's arm. As soon as you let go the balloon snaps back to its resting position. That's what happens to a simple space suit. So...
Would a human in vacuum behave like a skin balloon? If a person were standing in an airlock when the door was opened, would they be snapped into a live action Vitruvian Man, or some other neutral pose? Does an average human have enough muscle to flex their legs, arms, ankles, or even fingers against that force? Would we be locked in place, or just find it hard to move? Or, is the composition of our body (muscles, bones, ligaments) too heterogeneous, in a specific way which makes our body unlikely to respond like a simple pressurized container?
Edit: To those who would completely dismiss the possibility of a body inflating, there does seem to be evidence that that is exactly what happens. Apparently there were tests done on dogs in near vacuum and among other symptoms, "...the dogs swelled to resemble "an inflated goatskin bag," " https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/survival-in-space-unprotected-possible/
Different size spheres for taller or shorter people.
the sohere rotates spins and tumbles based solely on G forces and your body composition.
you may be spinning slowly backwards while going down the huge plunge.
First to comment will get a dodo code, please come grab quick, I need to leave soon. No need for gifts!
Btw, this is my secondary island Shrimpica, not my flaired island
Exactly as the title says, Iβm looking for a fantasy version of βVitruvian Manβ, though with what I call βangelkinβ and βdemonkinβ in my fantasy setting.
The angelkin would be male, the demonkin would be female. Further details will be elaborated. Would like to see portfolios before choosing an artist, however, and my budget can be discussed.
Thank you for your time, pm me if interested.
EDIT: thank you to those who have expressed interest in this project. I am currently preoccupied and unable to go through all the portfolios but I will be sure to do so when my shift ends. Iβm closing the commission for now and will go over the applications over the holiday. I will inform whoever I choose afterwards. Have a wonderful holiday everyone!
I think I got this as a present about ten years ago, started it, then put it back in the box. I feel pretty lucky that it's only missing one piece.
I was leaning toward hating this puzzle as I neared the end of it. There are so many big open spaces that act like a gradient puzzle, so at least I know now that I would hate a gradient puzzle. I thought the text would be easy to assemble but it was acutally quite hard, seeing as I don't know Italian backwards. But whatever, it was fun.
We all know the Vitruvian man, it's the picture of the dude with perfect proportions. Drawn by Da Vinci or whoever the fuck. I don't think I can post pics, but if you google it you will know exactly what I mean.
My question to y'all is just that if he existed, do you guys think his 4 arms help in any way in the NBA?
What about his 4 legs?
I think that they might not help at all, but I am pretty new to basketball (started watching when Shaq retired) so I might be wrong. Let me know your thoughts!
