A list of puns related to "Ultraviolet (film)"
I've been working on upgrading a number of films in my collection from HDX to UHD, and the Matrix trilogy is on that list. Over time, the first and last films (The Matrix, The Matrix Revolutions) both went on sale for UHD, so I picked them up. One things that complicates matters is that I'm still on a shared Ultraviolet library, and want to do what I can to contribute to the group until it goes away - end of July, if I have the date correct.
The middle film - The Matrix Reloaded - hasn't been on sale in Vudu for some time (or maybe ever?), and while I can (and still might) pay the current UHD asking price if it means the shared group gets the results, I'd like to wait and see if I can get it cheaper. So I started looking at digital codes for sale.
The first thing I did was look at the Digital Code Redemption Spreadsheet, which shows how each potential code needs to be redeemed for it to be properly assigned to an account. When I looked up Matrix Reloaded, I was surprised, as it conflicts with what is on the Vudu page.
So the question: is the UV eligibility specifically tied to buying the film from the Vudu storefront, and submitting a digital code does not get those UV rights? Does this vary from title to title, or studio to studio?
The price difference is about 50% ($9 for the 4K/UHD code I found, vs. $18 for buying directly from Vudu). I'm not in a huge rush, but I'd appreciate some guidance before spending money incorrectly. Thanks.
Would prefer this goes to someone in the UK or ROI. Could you post a photo of a 50p piece or a 50c euro next to a piece of paper with your username on it?
Hello folks!
I made an Ultraviolet Grasslands character sheet for online play (using the book's SEACAT rules).
It's made with Google Sheets (fully custmizable, editable in real time, independent by any VTT) and it's both in English and Italian.
I hope you like it!
You can grab it here for free (or if you'd like, you can support me with a donation) π

So to give some background, Ultraviolet was a 2006 action film that, from what I've read, wasn't exactly well received, and didn't do very well in the box office, barely making over the budget required to make it. But what's interesting is that two years later, an anime titled "Ultraviolet: Code 044" was released, which was loosely based off the film. It stars an original character and story, but with a few similar plot details (like a virus that enhances your abilities).
Now what baffles me is, why was this made? The film begins with a bunch of comic covers for Ultraviolet, but these were made solely for the film intro, as the film was a new IP with no prior content. The anime was made by Madhouse, so it's not like it was created by a no name studio, they had some talent going in. And I've heard the show is actually pretty decent. But I don't think it ever gathered much attention. It was never dubbed, I only recently even found out it has a subtitled dvd release.
I've heard of film to anime adaptations, like Escape from NY (which was canclled), or Highlander: The Search for Vengeance, but those at least came from well known properties. But this one here? But I can't figure out what inspired this project.
I wanted to buy the F77 for a long time but im running out of patience. Even if i do wait for it, will it be worth the money they are asking for or should just buy the petrol alternatives at the same price that are available now ? Will the after sales service be good? Will the quality of the bike be true to its price? Being a new company makes me a little nervous. Any suggestions?
