A list of puns related to "Tree spiking"
Not that i am planning anything ;)
The other night I got a call asking to rescue a cat stuck 50β up a loblolly pine. The call came at 8:00pm, it was raining and a thunder storm was on the way. The cat had been up there for 3 days. Time was of the essence and I know I can spike up a pine in the amount of time it takes to set up a rope so I opted for the spikes. I made sure the owner of the tree (not the owner of the cat) was aware about the damage Iβd be doing and he was okay with it. I stand by my decision but one of my colleagues thinks Iβve committed a great sin. Just wondering where other arborists might tie in on the debate.
I learned about how tree spiking is a federal crime in the United States. But how does it work?
