I have a resume and cover letter. Are they lying, being lazy, or don't care? I honestly wanna know because this happens all the time where I live. Drive up to a place and the front desk rep immediately tells me to go to the website. Go to the website and nothings there. How else am I supposed to branch out of retail and warehouse if nobody is giving me a chance? It's frustrating and hopeless like I'm gonna be stuck like everyone else comfortable with their lives and not wanting better in life.
So generally I try to frame these questions in 2 ways. Either the subject matter is obscure and funny (resulting in a fun clip at conclusion), OR the subject matter is obscure and "newsworthy" to Stern fans. Perhaps something significant that may have flown under the radar.
The latter are the less common of the two types, but in some ways can spawn better discussion.
Today's topic isn't particularly funny at all - in fact it's kind of disturbing - but I did find it "newsworthy" for several reasons to be discussed at conclusion.
So here's the framework...
Howard has pissed off a lot of people during his career. A lot. Some of those people expressed their anger publicly, and some have expressed it privately.
One fine morning, Gary took a phone call (possibly a voicemail - Baba sorta says both) from someone whom Howard REALLY pissed off. That person said this to Gary: "I hope Howard's daughter is raped by a big hairy black man."

So I watched a video recently where a player was placed in more or less Ingame jail where he had to talk to a admin about his inappropriate username. Eventually he had to change his name and was let go on with a warning. I was super curious after this because I didn’t realize this was even a thing. So anyone have any stories or have actually had this happen to them?

My wife and I have already been contacted by some people we know inviting us. They have an incentive to invite people. No pyramid scheme is ever worth it unless you're the one who created it.

I understand this is a super broad question and it might be aimed at much more competitive players. That said, what makes a deck more consistent besides redundancy? Is it more interaction in order to ensure your stuff goes though? Or is it faster, better mana to help you get your stuff out sooner? At the casual level my decks are performing too well, but when I decide to try against our cEDH players at our LGS even my best deck(Muldrotha Attrition) is just unable to slow them down, let alone generate enough value before someone combos off.
A majority of my decks are from the Commander's Quarters, but all have been long since upgraded from my collection by anywhere between $100-$200. Of all of them, I'd say two are a solid 8, and the rest are probably about a 6 in terms of the power scale people often use here. Do some decks, under certain commanders just lack the potential to get stronger after a specific value point? Is making a deck "competitive" super black and white, in that if you do or don't have the top eschelon of powerful cards it determines its viability at the upper levels of play?
