Nice try Tesco.According to the advert, you get your trolley and then wheel it to a cleaning station, maybe have a member of staff outside wiping it down before you touch it would be better.A bit like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted .

Concerning the item and horse wheel selection bug

Hey folks, I've been going back and forth with Rockstar support since November 5th about the issue with the item and horse wheels.

Issue being, the wheels are not as quick and responsive and do not stay selected on the item. You have to release your left bumper/L1 before you release your right stick for the item to activate. The weapon wheel is not affected and before the update, the item and horse wheels were similar to the weapon wheel, where as soon as you selected the item and let go of both the stick and L1/left bumper, the item activated. This change is an inconvenience, a disruption in the flow of playing, and a change to how we've been playing for over a year.

First they told me to reset my cache - I did over 5 times to no avail.

They then told me the issue was with my controller and told me to try another one. I knew this wasn't the issue but tried anyway. Nothing changed.

They then told me to create a YouTube video (which I can link if you guys want) and send it to them so they can further understand the issue. I did. They replied and told me that the game is working as intended.. aka there is nothing wrong and this isn't a bug.

I sent them this

"If the game is working as intended and you're presumably saying that this is NOT an issue, then why did Phil (above) apologize for the inconvenience, why was this change not included in the patch notes, and why are there many people on reddit and elsewhere claiming this exact same issue?

Are you saying that before the update, you could not access items as easily and quickly as you could weapons on the weapon wheel?

Here are likely up to 50 testimonials of people having the exact same issue.

I wonder if the exhilaration that comes from riding is something like what it feels like riding a horse. A primal experience akin to man and beast?

I sometimes find myself patting my bike like it's an animal or talking to it when taking a hard turn.

That low steady hum it gets after you've been riding a couple hours when it's warmed up and just perfect.

The bond you feel when riding solo under the sun and up and down roads

How you find yourself daydreaming about the days ride after it's over.

I wonder if that bond is a relic of the past when man tamed and rode beast's. Except it's machines now.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha"... Nokomis/Nakomi, Gitara Moroso, Rand, Aviendha, Mat, and other Wheel of Time parallels.

I really hope at least a few people read all the way through this haha because I spent several hours on this and would love to discuss.

In a Dusty Wheel video, Matt Hatch briefly mentions that Jordan was inspired for Nakomi by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic poem "The Song of Hiawatha" and he said "go read it" so I did :).

Ya'll, this poem is LONG. I searched and only saw a brief mention of it ever on the sub, so I read the whole thing and took notes and WOW, there are some very intriguing similarities and parallels to WoT. I tried to break it into sections but a lot of it is connected:

  • Gitche Manito (Manitou is the spiritual life force among a certain Native American theology. Some have translated "Gitche Manitou" as akin to "God"), he is connected to the wind, he smokes a pipe and declares to humanity "I will send a Prophet to you, a Deliverer of the nations." (Who shares the same initials and also declared the coming of a Messiah? Gitara Moroso. More on this below.)

  • "The Great Serpent, the Creator..." (obvious WoT parallel)

HIAWATHA / RAND:

  1. "In the days that are forgotten, in the unremembered Ages, from the full moon fell Nokomis, fell the beautiful Nokomis, She a wife, but not a mother." (Nokomis has a daughter who gets impregnated by the West Wind, gives birth to Hiawatha, dies, and Nokomis raises him.)

  2. "Two good friends had Hiawatha, singled out from all the others, bound to him in closest union..." (sounds like the ta'veren)

  3. "He it was who brought the morning." (sounds like He Who Came With the Dawn)

  4. Hiawatha falls in love with Minnehaha (first three letters are Min)

  5. Nokomis warns Hiawatha not to fall in love with a stranger but to "wed a maiden of your people."

  6. "And the heron, the Shuh-shuh-gah, Far off on the reedy margin, Heralded the hero's coming." (A heron signaling the hero, just like Rand)

  7. "Lo! How all things fade and perish! Great men die and are forgotten, wise men speak, their words of wisdom perish in the ears that hear them..." (sounds like Rand's speech on top Dragonmount)

  8. Hiawatha sees "all the secrets of the future" in a vision, including people arriving from the West and a dark vision of "the remnants of our people sweeping westward" and "our nation scattered, all forgetful of my counsels, weakened, warring with each other". **(This clearly reminds me of the Seanchan arriving from the west, causing strife
