Why does a flamingo stand on one leg?

Because if he lifted the other leg, he'd fall down.
My dad actually sent this joke to NPR a few years ago and it was featured. They asked "why does a flamingo stand on one leg?" quite seriously and my dad sent in that awesome answer.
