A list of puns related to "Texas Medical Center"
Anyone here have any insight to the parking situation at Houston Methodist? Iβm starting an assignment in a few weeks and havenβt been at a facility this large in awhile. From past experience, parking for travelers is either expensive, non-existent, or a shuttle of some kind.
Also interested in your take on the public transit system in Houston to any of the Texas Medical Center hospitals and how easy it is to navigate without a vehicle. Thinking of starting the first few weeks without a car.
Iβm starting at an extended stay and looking for housing now but curious how the commute is on public transit.
Any insight appreciated! Thanks in advance.
This is not cases, this is hospitalizations. People don't go to the hospital because its a fun side trip. They go when they're really sick. If you have detailed questions, go look it up here. On the same slide deck, it looks like maybe new cases has rolled over, thankfully, and due to people re-masking and vaxxing... not because the COVID Fairy was told by a politician to lighten up.

So the pediatric residency program here just sent me another rejection exactly after one month! Lol.
Such strong rejection π€£
Where is the most affordable place with a reasonable commute to work? I noticed the cost of living is substantially more in Boston, but the starting pay will be more for a nationally certified IV CPhT there than it is here. Any and all positive input is encouraged, I will be looking at craigslist and have already been looking on apartment list. Any other pointer before such a drastic change of scenery?
When the former king and emperor, Edward VIII of England, the Duke of Windsor, needed surgery for an aortic aneurysm, he went to the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX to see the world-renowed, pioneering cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. DeBakey in December 1964.

The Texas Medical Center is currently the world's largest medical center.
