A list of puns related to "Sunshine recorder"
During the 'intense' final section in Sunshine Recorder, starting at 4:49, panned in the left channel, it sounds like there are high-pitched metallic wind chimes being struck repeatedly. Somehow passed me by after at least a decade of listening to this album, but listening just now in headphones they're clear as day! Another example of there always being something hidden in a BoC track that I hadn't noticed before.

Below, discuss this track. How does it fit in with the rest of the album? How does it make you feel? What is your interpretation or personal experiences with this track?
With an album as fuckin' epic as Geogaddi, it's only inevitable that a few awesome tracks get a little lesser love from fans. I feel as though that song for me is Sunshine Recorder.
From the first second it starts, something is really subtly off about it. In a good way. That one glitchy, sustained note leads it inβshifting rather subtly in pitchβand then the drums come in and they sound like some huge god damn machine thumping to life. And then there's tons of those little reversed-drum fills, and the subtly synthesized "An eaaaaglleee in yourrr mindddd..."
I feel like it's the best half-way point between MHTRTC's whimsical childish feel and Geogaddi's... uh, satanist feel. Definitely my fave on Geogaddi. This sub's thoughts?

I had always dreamed of living in a small town away from the noise of the city and last summer my wish came true. My fianceeβs uncle, a quiet old man whom Iβd met a time or two, had passed away and left a small place in a town called Brightridge, a desert town miles away from any big city. I say big city, Iβm talking about a contrast to the big cities you find in New Mexico. My fiancee, being an artsy fartsy type, had jumped at the opportunity. She had been once or twice before as a kid, she had told me about the sparsity of the neighbourhoods, the dark, swirling sky that looms overhead, the cozy, multicoloured homes. βI hardly saw any neighbours, theyβre pretty quietβ she had told me.
Nostalgia can paint an often untrustworthy picture. My first impressions of the city as we drove in set a different tone. The sky was blue as far as the eye could see, families sat out on their porches and enjoyed the day. Our new house was a dull brown, two stories. The movers had been by hours before and our living room was not entirely unlike a tiny warehouse, we only had piles of boxes and a couple of couches positioned awkwardly in the center of the room.
We spent most of the morning unpacking boxes and moving them into the basement. The basement had been dark and dirty, a single light dangling from the ceiling and had been mostly unfinished, however it suited our needs just fine.
In the late afternoon, there was a knock at our door. The neighbourhood had rallied with all sorts of dishes and treats. They had been dressed in all sorts of bizarre, almost anachronistic outfits. The first couple to come in had brought their children. The wife had on a yellow sundress with big, white dots and the husband had been in a powder blue suit, I remember wondering how strange it felt, sort of stuck out of time. The wife stepped in, her smile positively beaming. βBeautiful place,β she said as she handed me a dish of some kind of something-salad. The couple stepped in, followed by their two children, a son in a smart sweatervest and a young girl in a frilly pink number. The other families handed their dishes over as they stepped in and talked to each other.
So much for keep to themselves, I thought. I shot my fiancee a glance and she just shrugged. Still, it was nice to have a bit of company. We milled around the room, saying our hellos and making small talk with the folks gathered around our barren living room. The first family, with the yellow dress and blue suit, were standing

I didn't know that this was a real thing but I could have purchased one from India for $600 on Ebay. It will probably get relisted since nobody went for it, if anyone out there really needs one. Anyways, I thought y'all might appreciate it.
