I recently replayed Brawl's Subspace Emissary and holy balls I cannot believe they haven't made another mode like this since it is so so good. Sure Ultimate has World of Light but it didnt scratch that smash campaign itch I've had since Brawl. I know Sakurai said he didnt make one due to the cutscenes being leaked but would yall want to see another Subspace type mode?

The Llurllukuthu stood at his podium, staring out at his shocked class with a mask of blank apathy. Every student in the room had fallen silent as he had entered, not understanding or being off put by his appearance. A slight breeze caused his bared flesh to shiver, reminding him once more of the necessary steps he had taken to preserve his dignity: a total exoskeletal molt.

Sighing softly and fidgeting with two manipulator appendages out of student sight, Z'grafk leaned closer to the microphone and spoke in a softer tone of voice. "Many of you are likely wondering why I am missing my normal exoskeleton. There is nothing wrong with me, I am simply undergoing a wilfully molting. It is a personal choice, and any further information is private. Please do not ask about it, I will not answer your questions." Of course he couldn't tell them why he was really molting. Anyone who knew Llurllukuthu well was aware that their tears cause an irreparable stain on their exoskeleton, a sign of weakness and cowardice amongst their people. The only way to get rid of the marks were by initiating a total molt, reverting to a more exposed form for a period of time before a new layer of protective chitin could reform. While there were multiple reasons why a Llurllukuthu would do this, they were limited and all quite private.

To his relief, none asked about why he chose to molt - finally, for the first time in what felt like months, Z'grafk had a break. A cursory glance around the room showed that the abhorrent filth- ... the gracious Dean Diswinka was not present, a second blessing of the day. Clearing his throat canals, Z'grafk readjusted himself and turned on the holographic projector once more. "To start our lesson off, can anyone tell me about the Subspace Dimension itself?"

Most of the class raised its hands, tentacles, manipulators, or equivalent bodily extensions. As the title implies, subspace and reinforcing is fucking broken. It's absurd Paradox pushes patch after patch leaving such an integral part of the game so broken. For any lurkers, I'm sure you've seen posts showcasing 100+ baby fleets in the outliner.

Reinforcing a fleet in your own territory? Sorry, your ships have to go into subspace for a year or two for absolutely no reason. But wait - you built gateways connecting all of your shipyards for really fast reinforcements? Sorry, your ships are going into subspace. Did you design your fleet to have 30 corvettes, 15 destroyers and 10 cruisers? Sorry, you're getting 42 corvettes, 19 destroyers and 3 cruisers. Relying on that reinforce fleet button to spend your precious alloys? Sorry, you just overspent 10,000 alloys because the game can't remember if you have reinforcements in transit.

Maybe let's put the brakes on suggesting new game mechanics, and let's start demanding fundamental parts of the game are fixed first.

I am a novice Dom and am curious about the concept of Subspace. While I have read about it from a theoretical perspective, I am looking for a more experience based insight into it.

Some things I am particularly curious about,

As a sub, what is it that pushes you into the space? Is there anything definitive that does it for you or does it remain unknown, i.e. anything can be the trigger?

How frequent is it that you enter the space?

Does the intensity drop, i.e. was entering your space for the 100th less intense than the 10th or the 50th?

One of the basic devices that I use in almost every build is the Subspace Field Modulator that was a reward in the "Episode" Skirmish. However, I don't seem to be able to to find the episode or any other way to get the Subspace Field Modulator.

I had my second ever in person session with someone just a few hours ago and we agreed to try rope bondage. He put a chest harness on me and then tied my hands to my thighs. Right after he finished I started getting this super weird fuzzy sensation in my face, stomach, and hands. It definitely wasn't numb because I felt it in places that didn't have any rope near them. So I had this assignment in my exam and my teacher said the answer was wrong, here's the thing :

Find the subspace generated by {(3,-4),(1,-(4/3)} (idk if generated subspace is the correct translation from Spanish but it's the same)

Here's what I did:

First I writed the set as a linear combination of (x,y) like this:

(X,Y) = v(3 , -4 ) + k (1 , -(4 / 3))

Then I write in a system equation form and solve it with the gauss Jordan way, as result I get:

3v + k = X

0v + 0k = (4/3)X + Y

so it's an inconsistent system, isn't? Which means that doesn't exist v and k such that the subset could be written as linear combination of the set of vectors, so the set doesn't generate the subspace, right? Or I'm mistaking in my understanding of the subject?
