A list of puns related to "Stray Dog (band)"
TIFU by giving a stray dog a twenty dollar bill while tripping on acid.
I had dropped some acid with my friends a few hours earlier and I was just leaving their place to go down the road to my house. I was still in the peak and my mind was all over the place.
As I was walking, a rough looking dog without a collar came up to me and looked at me with such pitiful eyes. I felt a connection with the creature. I thought about itβs life and what it must have gone through to get to this point. Without thinking, I reached into my wallet and pulled out a twenty and just handed it to the dog and it took it in its mouth and ran off with it. I felt so satisfied and warm. About an hour later, I realized what I had done.
I like to think the dog wandered into some shop and gave the twenty to someone who then gave him food, but I know the odds of that are pretty slim. At least I tried to do something nice I guess.
TLDR: did drugs and tried to do something nice, gave a dog money.
I found this dog today at in my community under a tree. Following are features:
1- Dog had his neck twisted backwards whille lying down. I straightened it but it goes back into that position with him whining and yelping.
2- He ate alot of food showing that he was starving for days.
3- He has no frothing at mouth, tried to drink water from spoon as much as it could.
4- The dog is unable to move. He can barely bend his hind legs and move his neck a little but no movement in the front legs.
5- After eating food, he yelps a little and then his neck twists backwards again
I wanted to know what can I do to help him right now, the vet in our area couldnt come here and the dog is unable to move so any help is appreciated till the vet can be seen. Secondly, could this be a form of rabies? Thank you, any help will be highly appreciated.
It started one year ago. For one day each month, he'd come up with some excuse for me not to walk back to his house to hang out after school. We'd usually stay up chatting and eating pizza in his treehouse until the crickets came out at night, but for that one day every month, we'd say our goodbyes at the school gates and I'd walk home alone.
It wasn't as much fun spending my free time without Gavin. When the day came, I'd usually play video games in my dark basement to pass the time and then go to bed early, before I could even see the moon. I'd always make sure to let Gavin know the next day about how utterly boring my evening was without him, and he'd always appear very relieved to see me.
From time to time, I'd call out his strangely regular absences caused by suspiciously ordinary events, such as a visit from his aunt, or an appointment at the dentist's. Why would these seemingly random affairs always occur approximately 29 days apart? I knew that he knew I didn't believe his excuses, but in the morning I'd still politely ask him about the wellbeing of his cousin who allegedly broke his arm in a skating accident and asked for Gavin to visit him. He'd tell me a few vague facts about what he'd signed on his cast, I'd nod and ruffle up his ginger hair, and then we'd go on about our day as usual.
Another strange behaviour that my best friend began to exhibit one year ago was his choice of school lunches. Gavin's favourite was a cheese and cucumber sandwich with sweet chilli crisps on the side. But for three days before his monthly disappearance, he'd turn up at our bench with meat - a different kind each time. He'd always insist on sharing with me as well.
Today's selection has particularly puzzled me.
"Did your mom really cook you a sirloin steak for school this morning?", I narrowed my eyes theatrically and took a bite. We were sat at our favourite bench under a willow tree. It was a sunny autumn day, and I could hardly look away from Gavin's gleaming blue eyes.
"Do you really think that my mother would wake up early to do anything nice for me? It was left over from the dinner with my uncle last night", Gavin sighed. I moved closer to touch his arm gently.
"We could have a sleepover at my house someday, you know?", I suggested, feeling my pulse increase with every word. "We could watch that movie you've been bothering me about. What was it called... 'The Howling'? Then I'll make you waffles for breakfast..."
Glancing down at Gavin's blushed c

I'm going to visit Slovenia for summer vacation this year. Never been, so super excited! I'm training for a half marathon so I plan on going for runs and enjoy nature a lot. Do you have stray dogs lurking around? Thinking about buying pepper spray if that's the case. Also, how common is it to find alcohol-free beer in the supermarket? I don't want to drink too much alcohol just before the race.
Thank you in advance and much love from Germany <3
I moved to a new house with my 7 y/o chow mix last September. It has a pretty decently sized yard, and a few stray cats live on the street and tend to hang out in my yard. Most of the time when we go outside, they run off or hide out of sight. All except one orange Tom.
I first noticed him a few weeks ago. He sits at a distance and watches me walk my dog. If I move out of sight, I can watch him creep around until he finds a new βhiding spotβ. Heβs slowly started getting closer and closer until last week he walked right up sat about 5β away from my dog.
My dog is not good with dogs, but she adores cats. She immediately started wagging her tail and trying to get closer, but I didnβt want to scare the cat and held her back. The cat sat where he was and calmly watched her and started rolling in the grass! I pulled my dog away and went inside.
Now for the past few days, any time I take the dog outside, I see the orange cat walking steadily towards us. He doesnβt seem to have any fear of the dog whatsoever. Heβs let me pet him and is very friendly, but Iβm being cautious about letting him interact with my big dog.
I just thinks itβs cute that all the other cats will run as soon as the door knob turns, but this one seems to be making himself some friends and right at home!
Update! I spoke to the neighbor, his name is Tucker and he does have a home! He lives a few streets down and likes to wander. I guess he is just in the market for some new furry friends! Iβll post a video of him βhidingβ next time I spot him
