A list of puns related to "Standing on the Corner (Blue Yodel No. 9)"
Yes I am aware of the value this record seems to have these days, and Iβm well aware there are many others that have been trying to hunt this record down...
This album came out during a very difficult point in my life and has become very important to me over the years. I am very set on having it in my collection, and am willing to trade some valuables as well as throw cash on top to make as fair a trade as possible, so if you have this record and are even remotely interested in letting it go to someone who will cherish it forever, PLEASE send me a message!!
Itβs one of my favorite TTT moments and I canβt find it to rewatch again
So I wanna buy like a piece of wood and staple/tape/glue some posters on to it. I'm thinking 2 sticks with, I guess, 2 posters on each. Or 3 sticks; one in each hand and one attached to my back. I've got a few "Vote Yang" posters. And I was thinking of writing something like "Your DATA is YOUR PROPERTY", "Your DATA is worth MORE than OIL", "$1000 a Month", "Vote Yang", "Wash out Lobbyist cash!".
If you had to choose 4 or 6 short messages that you can put on poster boards, what would they be?
I would be standing near a light where red lights last for maybe 30 seconds or so with relatively busy traffic.
Supporting Yang is going to be a hobby of mine.

For a thousand years, writers have been sitting in coffee shops (and bars) writing stories.
This morning, I am loitering on a street corner, in front of Starbucks, sipping my coffee. I watch a sea of humanity stream out of the Metro train station across the street into the courtyard. So many people. The stream comes in waves lasting two minutes or so. Itβs as if the train has an upset stomach and is heaving up people.
The first thing I notice is everyone pulls out their cell phone as they emerge from underground into the sunshine. They walk on staring at the little screen, Gotta check for messages just in case it's the end of the world and I must save it, like the teen-age girl always does in those alien invasion disaster movies.
A pair of blonde women emerge. They are holding hands. They are pretty and dressed in professional light grey suits and white blouses. Finance banker types, if you ask me. They kiss, much lip touching and a full length body closeness that comes with new love. Each goes off in separate directions. The new normal in America.
A young black woman drops her scarf as she crosses the street. An older white man calls out, "Miss!" He bends, his arms flailing wildly - beer belly paunch in the way - picks up the scarf and hands it to her. She smiles and thanks him. We have terrible race problems in America but there is still lots of kindness too.
A Chinese woman splits from the crowd and stops in front of me. She is middle aged, slender, and short enough that I can see the top of her head and her thinning black hair.
She looks up at me, hands me a business card, and says an accented, "Where?"
Itβs for some home health care office nearby. I point towards the backside of the building, saying "two blocks," and gesture two fingers in a V.
She says, "Thank you, thank you," bows a couple of times, and walks on towards the back of the building.
I am not the only one watching the crowd. The police are here too, a Sergeant and three officers, standing near the station's exit. They are wearing puffy bulletproof vests that gives them a barrel-chested body builder look. Their riot helmets remind me of the ones skateboarders wear - round with slots on the side and probably on top too for cooling air to pass. Their rifles, M16s I think, are slung on their shoulders with the muzzles poin

I think it was on r/NoSleep originally, but I got linked to it from an AskReddit post. I know since it was on NoSleep it was fake, but still, the post itself was pretty creepy, and I can't seem to find it by searching for it.
I know the dude was recording his house after hearing noises, and later on upon reviewing the footage some commenters saw a dude standing in the corner of the room, dressed in black, and it almost appears as if he's got an old-timey plague doctor mask on. I think it was in the kitchen or some place similar, with a dining room table. If anyone finds it, or has the post saved, be sure to let me know, thanks!
Once I saw him at the Co-op and said hi but he looked genuinely frightened at being recognized, so I'd never bother him again with random interaction. But it's nice to see a brilliant person just walking around Bellingham. A bright light during these dark days.

3 Happy Birthday to You~! Miyawaki Sakura, birthday alone start!
Sakura says the live broadcast will be on the 19th of March and she is pretty sure that there will be hashtags for her birthday on Twitter when she turns 22. The actual date of recording was on 10th March. 3
1 Right now is my actual birthday, so there should be some hashtag right now
singing Happy Birthday to herself* It's my lonely happy birthday! I'm here in Korea recording by myself again
This was recorded on the 10th so I don't really feel like my birthday is here or that I'm 1 year older now, but with the birthday messages that people sent, I'll probably finally feel it
22, huh...I first became an idol at 13 years old! To me, this year was really a year that we traveled the world. We had our Asia tour, I got to go to New York, various K-CON. Standing on the stages at New York and Los Angeles, I was moved by how many people in the world actually know of me, so I did think that I wanted to have even more people know me worldwide 1
Last year my birthday was right in the middle of our Violeta comeback. It really doesn't feel like one year, or rather I feel like this year crammed years of experiences into this one
When there's change, like she changes her hair or goes to another group, that's exactly when you should support her more. I totally get liking many people, but to me, that's detestable 1
2 Fans used to send Sakura 's fav flower, blue roses for her birthday yearly. Blue rose used to symbolize impossibility but after the advancement of biotechnology, it now symbolizes dreams/possibilities. Fan say it's perfect to represent Sakura's trajectory so far
Sakura: It was in my grade school textbook! I thought, 'So cool!' and since then blue rose has become my fav flower. Isn't the symbolism too cool? Something that was impossible to exist naturally but became possible through science. It enlightened me that "Nothing is impossible!"I'm glad there are fans that remember stuff like this even now. I owe a lot to fans who have been supporting me since HKT. Having ppl continue to support me no matter where I go, for me, you're my pride. Since you're always with me, I'm able to do my best no matter what. Fans who has been together with me since I was 14yrs old, even until I'm 40 or 50, pls still always send me blue roses~ Thank you (laughs) 2
1 I've been an idol for 9 years. I didn't expect to be an idol this long, nor could I have known I'd be in Korea now

I'm a relatively recent Stones covert (in terms of stuff outside the "big four" anyway) but I recently took the plunge on that box set that covers everything from Sticky Fingers onwards. It was a great purchase!
Anyway, I've been working through pretty much in order and I'm currently stuck on what an absolute jam "Dance (Pt. 1)" is. What a groove. And I always want to skip it back because that intro is so cool and it makes me grin like an idiot every time!
Does anybody know? I figure if a guy is bothered enough to stand on a street corner with a big sign on a winter day, whatever he has to say might worth a listen.
I did this for the previous snippet, and I think that it would be good to do it again. As we all know Earl is very cryptic and he posted a cryptic snippet with the caption "βοΈπ‘"( snippet #2). In the comments he's tagged two creatives @salmasekela and @standing_on_the_corner. I mean it could all be meaningless, but these names that are tagged might be significant. He's done it twice, and in a similar fashion. So, this is probably important. Again, we never know with Earl.
