Hours after that, a special ops contingent of Silent Federation Military assisted the Pantheon Coalition and GENFED forces in a military maneuver in undisclosed areas of Space in Wicked Creek and Insmother.
Although this was termed as a joint military exercise, there are unconfirmed reports of a skirmish between the coalition forces and that of the OG Empire. Although this doesn't affect imperial space, the prices of Nullsec materials might rise and Jita stock market has crashed after the news. Today we have with us two Special correspondents who are experts in Null Sec politics and warfare, Dr. Quafaholic Brew of the University of Caille and Prof. Rust'in Peace of Republic University.
First of all Dr. Brew, Why did Silent Federation declare war on OG Empire? It seems like bullying to me, TBF. Why did Silent Fed, who were Silent till now join the war in the South? What is all this 'Blue Donut' issue?
Dr. Quafaholic Brew: As many others think, the Silent Federation joining the Pantheon-Genfed coalition gives rise to an overwhelming force in New Eden Nullsphere termed as the 'Blue Donut, which might seem to tip the balance of power in the sector. But truth to be told, they are the underdogs here. The truth is that the whole of Null sphere has segregated in two big alliances. Although they have not named themselves yet, let us give them names so as to ease this discussion.
- Freedom Alliance: Pantheon, GENFED, Catch 22 and Silent Fed.
- Dark Force Collective: ACR, Content Coalition, NO-Please Stop, Fireflies.
When you consider the active player base and speculation of public and private resources from legal mining ratting and illegal botting, The Dark Force Collective has far more fire power and a deeper war chest than that of the Freedom Alliance.
Rust'in Peace : May I interject here for a second. In my opinion, the Dark Force collective is a quasi- alliance at the best, and I don't think they have any long term interests in being an alliance. Al
