Laid my best friend to rest. She saw every bit of the lower 48 states by freight trains, planes, clapped-out cars and boats. I was building a sidecar to get her to Alaska when the seizures started. Loving her changed my life and losing her has done the same. Writing a eulogy in the comments.

Recently upgraded all of my devices to recent releases, Air 4, M1 mini and a 2020 SE. I was fiddling with settings and I noticed the sidecar prompt, the joy I felt when my iPad sprung into life as a second display! I had no idea this existed, I was still having a great time with handoff! I’ve been using a Mac Pro 3,1 for years and damn, this whole connectivity thing is great. Anything else I might not have been paying attention to?

My setup for when working remotely or travelling. MacBook Air 2019, iPhone XS, Apple Watch S3 & iPad 2017 (used to take this photo 😂). Everything gets the job done. I will only update my iPad soon so I can use Sidecar, but other than that I’m still happy with my previous generation devices!

Name for a Bourbon Sidecar??
Was having a convo with some of my colleagues about the Sidecar, and one of us mentioned a Bourbon sidecar, but couldn’t think of what it would be called… Are there any history buffs out there who know what it’s name is? I feel like I’ve come across this answer in my studies, but for the life of me, I can’t remember it… I feel like it’s calling it a “Scotch Manhattan” instead of a Rob Roy… anyone?

Faulty product, what do I do? I bought a mobias sidecar. It came fast, the seller has a good rep. Unfortunately, the joint you insert the bowl into has a bit of a bump and a dip in it and thus the seal isn't airtight. More in the comments

eparture area where it respawns before someone else takes it. I can then start practicing using the motorcycle. I call the game "find the motorcycle." I have to be careful not to fall into the ocean due to where the motorcycle is usually abandoned: on a cliffside. 😶

I'm putting LOs crib against my bed sometime soon, and all I can think about is how convenient a fitted sheet to connect the two would be! You know, like one that could go over both the crib mattress and my mattress, just to make it look more cohesive/create a smoother surface transition.
