A list of puns related to "Siberian cat"
Feel free to answer in Fahrenheit or in Celsius, but please specify when you answer. :) thanks in advance!!
Iβm thinking of getting Healthy Paws but wanted to know which one is the most common or your experiences w pet insurance!
Am I the only one who gets annoyed by these posts? I keep seeing people posting their cats asking if theyβre sibs (on here and in facebook groups). They are very cute cats but literally no one can know for sure. Half the time the answer is βwithout pedigree papers heβs just a DLHβ. They can look at their own cat and pictures of Siberians and see if they have similar features, but idk why people always ask us Siberian owners if their cats are sibs because thatβs all we can do too. No one can know for sure if your cat is a sib unless you got it from a breeder (or from someone who got it from a breeder). Sorry for ranting Iβm just tired of seeing the same posts.
Because I drive up north for the summer/fall and then back south for the winter/spring, I can only manage one kitty. Would a Siberian be miserable in a one cat/one person home, but a very loving home?
I know a google search can answer the question, but I've seen some quoting 12 years and some saying up to 20.
Is it one of those things that just can't be known as it's dependant on health/food/genetics/stress level?
If anyone had a Siberian that passed, how old did they live for?
For those with old siberians, how old are they now?
Hoping to get a further understanding of Siberian cats' life expectancy.
I'm looking for some advice regarding a husky puppy and a cat we have owned for several years. My partner was very persuasive that a husky can get along perfectly fine with a cat as long as they are raised together from a young age. After alot of pressure from my partner, I caved and we now have a 9 week old siberian husky puppy. She is absolutely adorable and has been great so far (aside from the typical biting phase that all puppies go through). I was pretty upfront about the fact that I wasn't into a high maintenance dog, but seeing how much it meant to my partner, I caved and but now I'm not sure I made the best decision.
I'm starting to have extreme doubts about the safety of our cat. It seems okay now, but what about when our puppy gets bigger? I want to hear the good the bad and the ugly from all the husky owners out there with cats. There is so much mixed information on the internet and it's very unsettling.
Our cat is indoor/outdoor - would the husky chase and prey on our cat when he's outside playing in the yard? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.
Hello all, I am back again with another question. I wanted to see if female cats are indeed as standoff as people tend to describe them to be. My preferred personality is of course a laid back cat who is very loving and not shy. I was wondering if boys might be a better fit? Thanks for all the response! You guys are awesome!
My mind cannot even fathom what it was like to be able to buy dark clothes, hang them in a closet, and do something as outrageous as... put them on when I want to wear them. Some people can literally just pull clothes out of their closet and put them on. What was that like? I don't even remember.
My cat is a mad man. Rarely can be still unless nobody is interacting with him. He is the most socialized, submissive, sweetheart of a cat that I didn't even know such a cat existed. He won't cuddle tho, theres probably 10000 things he could potentially be getting into. My cat is almost 2yo Male. Will he ever cuddle? He shoves his face into me purring uncontrollably. Will he always be this way? Is 2 yo too old to leash train, I'll be honest my cat seems kind of dumb sometimes, but I think thats because it seems he can't see all too well? any other input on that? thanks everyone.
What personality changed have your siberians gone thru over time?
UPDATE: NubΓ© has been found and purring non stop in her parentsβ arms! Thank you for everyoneβs support! π
Hi everyone, a good friend of mine has lost her pet cat, NubΓ©, this afternoon around Don Mills & Green Belt Dr area.
Helping with making a Reddit post to increase more eyes in the neighborhood for this sweet cat and hope she can be back safe and warm.

Hello!
I am looking to adopt/buy a Siberian cat in Poland however, wanted to see if you might know a good breeder/cattery.
More than the predigree, I want a healthy cat.
Thank you all!
I really want to get a cat, but my dad is allergic really bad :(( and I want to know if itβs myth or true? Before I bring up the idea (mind u he is stubborn as fuck)
My Siberian keeps slipping while running (sometimes while walking) because of the fur coming out of her paws. Is this normal? Is it ok to shave them off? I'm assuming that the fur on her paws are helpful for walking on snow.
Hello there! I recently got a siberian kitten and I am wondering if I should ever give him a bath and how often? He is indoor and doesnt really get dirty from anything other than his poopo or pee, but then I just wash that part and not really his whole body! :)
I'm looking for a quiet, hypoallergenic pet that can be left alone for 4 or 5 hours a day. Most of the hypo-allergenic dog breeds tend to be barky and easily get separation anxiety.
I know that cats generally do better than dogs with alone time. Also, I've heard Siberians tend to cause less allergies than most cats, but it seems to vary from cat to cat.
I would visit any breeder to test for myself, but how hypo-allergenic have you found Siberian cats to really be?
Should they generally be able to handle 4 or 5 hours of alone time without issue?
My five-year-old female cat has recently started over licking and bitten off most of the fur from her hind legs and lower abdomen area. We have changed her food to rule out allergies, her skin is clear and there is no rash. We keep her clean and tidy. During our waking hours, she is playful. She eats and drinks normally. We interrupt her when we observe her overlicking. We put a cone on her when it gets too much and she stops for some time (and then she starts licking the inside of the cone pretty noisily). Night times are worst as we cannot interrupt her grooming herself non-stop. I have awakened several times due to the sound of her licking her legs or cone. We cannot understand why she is doing it and she has given herself red streaks in the lower abdomen area. The vet also could not say much other than ask us to use the cone. Thanks for reading.
We LOVE cats but sadly my BF is allergic. Someone told me that Siberian cats can be tolerated by allergic people. Could anyone with cat allergy share their experience?
