With our beloved new TV obsession coming to an end, it's time to try to put some dots on some i's.
SPOILER FOR THOSE NOT FAMILIAR WITH "The Scarlet Witch" 2018 solo series.
As we find out on Episode 8 of "Previously On", Wanda's alias is in fact a title given to a witch who possess Chaos Magic and the ability to warp reality.
In Wanda's solo run "The Scarlet Witch" we are introduced to the concept of different color wizard and witches around the globe. And that's a hereditary/chosen within the family line to be the next holder of the power.
In this story, set years after the events of House of M. Introduces as to a Wanda that has been harden with experience and desperately trying to prove herself as a hero by healing Witchcraft. She goes into an adventure around the Globe learning more about the secrets of magic, witchcraft, and herself.
Tell me if that storyline doesn't scream Season 2 to you I don't know what will.
Now onto the specific colors of Magic.
So far we have been introduced to 5 colors of magic.
Orange - Eldritch Magic - Dr. Strange and Co. Using inter-dimensional energies that are channelled through the soul (keep this in mind) into the body.
Green - Eye of Aggamotto - When Dr. Strange uses the Time Stone to manipulate time.
Purple - Agatha's signature magic that seems to be the same color as the bolts released by Dormamu (in Dr. Strange 1). It seems to have the unique ability to steal power from other and boosts the user's power levels (keep this in mind)
Blue - Billy's magic manifestation from the Halloween episode and also Peter and Tommy's speed power trails (super speed could be considerate space manipulation as you can move through space without the restrictions of normal beings). Also the Witches from the Coven however we don't know the nature of their powers. However, it's interesting that Billy also has blue magic.
Red - Wanda's Chaos Magic which has reality warping powers.... Now hold on, what else is red with black, goes around like dense liquid smoke and can alter reality..... You guessed! The Aether from Thor Dark World a.k.a. The Reality Stone's liquid form. Wanda has LITERALLY the powers of this stone. Now maybe the reason the Mind Stone (Vision) was able to fall in love with Wanda is because it recognizes her as equal due to her connection to the Reality stone.
SO MAGIC COMES FROM THE STONES!!!!!!!

Putting aside for a moment whether Scarlet’s apologies have been genuine or not — Asia was humiliated on national television and had to endure vile racist attacks online, and still had the courage and desire to atone for her mistake.
By contrast, Scarlet Adams has done absolutely nothing from what I can tell, aside from some vague references to working on being a better ally. There are plenty of actions she could have taken, either before the competition or during (exiting the competition and requesting that Jojo take her place, for example). But instead she gets a favorable edit complete with hashtag ru-demption courtesy of two Americans who have parachuted into Oceania convinced they know enough about the situation to act as the judge and jury (and before anyone says it, yes RuPaul is Black, but RuPaul is not First Nations or indigenous, and that distinction matters in this case).
So that’s my rant and in conclusion, we can’t have higher standards for bugs than racism, and thank the stars for our lovely winner Kita Mean!
EDIT: Some really great discussion in here about the comparable-ness of these two events, and the actions Scarlet has/hasn’t taken. Thank you to everyone who has left thoughtful comments.
To the people who are like “get over it and let it fade” — uh, no? RPDRDU literally ended 2 days ago, this is still a valid discussion. And that’s not necessarily even because of Scarlet, but because of the way the way the show’s producers decided to handle many things, from glossing over Scarlet’s racist actions, to sending home the only two queens of color while bringing back a white queen. We’re still talking about it. You don’t have to participate.
EDIT 2: Pretty horrified by the number of people taking time to leave comments in this thread reinforcing white supremacy. Holding people accountable for racism is controversial apparently!
