A list of puns related to "STOS BASIC"
Now that we know the complete contents of the Legend bundle, it is a matter of some simple math to calculate its value. Though we will have to make some assumptions (which are listed below), I will generally be making the more conservative choices. The reason is that if less conservative assumptions are made, the value of the pack skyrockets so quickly that there is little basis for comparison at all.
It is also worth mentioning that the best deal prior to this was likely the Gamma Vanguard bundle, which has a base purchase price of 15,000 Zen but is regularly discounted to 12,000 Zen. By my calculations, the pack contains 37,500 Zen worth of items (using the assumptions below and the three tech upgrades to round up to the nearest 500). This means that the discount offered when the Gamma Vanguard pack is on sale is about 68.0%. In terms of discount, this is what the Legend bundle is competing with--especially considering the respective price points.
Assumptions being made in this math are the following:
I've been wondering, and have probably posted about it but forgot, should I learn stos basic? How insulting would that be? An even better idea - I clone one of philips's games inside of it. I want some thoughts and maybe some discussion, since I've wanted to do this for a while now, and don't worry, I'm already a programmer unlike someone was who dove into it head first using just a manual, speaking of which, I'll be using https://archive.org/details/STOS_The_Game_Creator_User_Guide_1988/page/n7 as my only guide, of course with prior programming knowledge, but I feel as though we're on an even playing field. Anyonbe else wanna do this?

I am just starting to use the STO Basic Keybind of All Tray 10. Used STO Basic Keybind app to create.
I find it only executes on tray slot item with each spacebar. (i.e. it does not cycle through the full tray with one spacebar press). My file looks the same as other folks who do basic tray 10 builds (has $$, etc.) I also disabled profanity filter as I saw a note that this can be an issue. I also reset my STO configs back to default. Unfortunately, nothing seems to fix this as I have tried mutliple items in the lists EmPwrShields, Tactical Team, Science Team, EmPwrWeapons, etc. and it doesn't seem to depend on the slot items.
Space "+TrayExecByTray 9 0$$+TrayExecByTray 9 1$$+TrayExecByTray 9 2$$+TrayExecByTray 9 3$$+TrayExecByTray 9 4$$+TrayExecByTray 9 5$$+TrayExecByTray 9 6$$+TrayExecByTray 9 7$$+TrayExecByTray 9 8$$+TrayExecByTray 9 9$$+TrayExecByTray 9 8$$+TrayExecByTray 9 7$$+TrayExecByTray 9 6$$+TrayExecByTray 9 5$$+TrayExecByTray 9 4$$+TrayExecByTray 9 3$$+TrayExecByTray 9 2$$+TrayExecByTray 9 1$$+TrayExecByTray 9 0"
Seems like a basic issue, but not sure where to look to determine why it doesn't cycle through the tray with the above file?
Hello guys,
Iβve been playing STO for a few years on and off but never really reached end game and when I got close I just look for a build to copy and get on with it but now Iβm doing something different.
I looked up some stuff and decided to go with a dragon build as they are considered good starter builds till you get the right boffs to go for a Drake or A2B.
Anyway my knowledge is limited certainly when it comes to equipment so for now I am focussing on skill builds and boff set up.
I will be flying the sojourner as an engi captain. I will be looking to tank now and then but I would also like to at least do some decent damage as a lot of my time will be spent alone. I just simply don't have the time to commit too much. (2 young children, wife allergic to games, full time work and training schedule)
So what am I looking for. Skill build for tanking and solo play Boff layout in dragon pattern for tanking and solo play. Ship sojourner as engi captain Miracle worker
If you want to recommend a budget equipment layout feel free but I will allready be happy just to receive feed back on the skill build and boff skills.
I may also be interested in the Miracle worker cruiser scot class. I have the ZEN.

Hey, I'm new to both STO and it's the first MMORPG I've ever played too. I've played RPGs before on consoles (The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games) but this is my first experience at a MMORPG.
So, just to explain, at the moment I'm a level 10 Federation Science officer and have just acquired my new ship (went for the science vessel). My main issue is that I can't seem to find enough web-based info about generally helpful things to do. I'm just plodding along completing the missions from Starfleet.
I've browsed the STO wiki and read through a few blog based beginners guides but the information seems to be all the same and a bit lacking.
Basically, as someone not only new to STO but totally new to MMORPGs, the sheer number of icons, options and stuff I just find generally confusing and it's left me feeling like I'm completely missing a lot of potentially great game play.
Can anyone suggest a good web-based resource that I've missed, or simple some helpful tips that might help get me more 'into' the game?
I'm aware this is probably something brought up frequently and many veteran players may find these questions tedious, but any help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers guys.

I think "I'll do my backlog" and *BAM!* I'm so sick I'm incapacitated. Fantastic. I'm better now, but the frustration over "why is it always like that?" remains (and was here for quite a while).
I haven't heard anybody talking about this and it might peak the interest of some people here. This is currently available for pre-order on Amazon but it doesn't get released until August 6, 2021 (about two weeks after the main set is released).
Product Description:
>The Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Gift Bundle contains 10 Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Draft Boostersβthe best boosters for drafting, plus 1 Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Collector Booster full of foils, special card treatments, and 5 Rare and/or Mythic Rare cards. It also includes 40 basic lands (20 traditional foils and 20 nonfoils), 1 traditional foil alt-art promo card, 1 oversized Gift Edition d20, 1 special foil card storage box, and 2 reference cards.
This seems like the equivalent of the Gift Edition Bundles for Throne of Eldraine and Zendikar Rising. $42 seems like a very reasonable price and because an official Amazon pre-order, if the price goes down any more after you pre-order, they will price match.
I find it particularly interesting that the regular bundle (without the special limited edition D20 and without the collector booster) is currently available for pre-order for $47 (which seems inflated). $5 more for no collector booster, no shiny box or rare D20.
I also find it interesting the the gift bundle does NOT appear to be listed when you visit the Magic the Gathering store and shop by the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms expansion.
What are your thoughts on this product? Does anyone plan on pre-ordering the Adventures in The Forgotten Realms Gift Bundle?

When Kendrick woke up, he was sore around his middle, but, for the first time in a while, he didnβt feel that nagging pulling sensation anymore.
Over the course of the week, his back had felt better rapidly. He could sit against and lay on it comfortably about three days in, but the stomach discomfort had been a constant. While it still hurt presently, not having to make sure he had enough slack in the tubes for every move he made was already an immense relief.
Kendrick looked around the room to notice two key differences. First, all the machines the tubes had connected to were missing. The second being the wheelchair that sat in their place.
The wheelchair jogged his brain; he had expected to wake up to see Morivey waiting for him, but she was nowhere to be seen.
He gingerly wiggled off to the side and grabbed the tray tableβs edge, and began to pull it closer. It took more effort than he cared to admit, but he finally got it close enough to grab the laptop and turn it on.
It was late in the afternoon now, nearly time for dinner.
He opened up his messenger program and pulled up Morivey.
>Was expecting to see you here when I woke up just now.
Kendrick only had to wait a few seconds for her reply.
>They told me I couldnβt wait in the room with you alone. I was starting to get worried.
He typed back.
>They never told me what time it was happening, I got ambushed while talking to my mom. On that topic, my parents are coming tomorrow sometime in the afternoon. Youβre welcome to be here and meet them if youβd like.
Kendrick hoped his wording wouldnβt pressure her one way or the other.
He waited a minute or two for a reply, but did not receive one. After another minute he backed out and typed a quick message in the group chat with the other four girls, telling them his tubes were gone and his parents were coming tomorrow. Pelrinn had expressed disappointment they couldnβt meet them last time, so he felt it rude to not offer them the chance.
A response from Morivey finally popped up
>If they are okay with it, I would like to be there.
So thatβs why she took so long to answer, she wasnβt sure if she was welcome. He tapped out another quick message.
>They already sa
... keep reading on reddit β‘Throughout the years, the STO community and often members of /r/stobuilds, have delved into just about every nook and cranny of this game's cryptic mechanics. Luminaries like /u/TheFallenPhoenix, /u/Mastajdog, /u/Odenknight, /u/DeadQthulhu, /u/Jayiie, /u/Talon42, /u/tilorfire27 and of course your humble author have all contributed to a greater understanding of starship mechanics in Star Trek Online. That knowledge is scattered throughout various posts as well as the STObuilds wiki.
Partnering with DeadQthulhu, Jayiie, and of course Mr. Tilor, we've been working on an aggregate resource. Much of it has been collected through years of posts and derivations from all of the individuals listed above. Some of the content is philosophical, reflecting ideas on how to focus builds and how to pilot effectively. Some of our work is raw formulas and mathematical concepts. All of it is combined to present yet another resource. Having exhausted that most ubiquitous and helpful of engineering formats, spreadsheets, we now move to one only slightly-less common: a slideshow! We'd like to present:
STO Build Theory & Mechanics: "How Starships Work in STO"
Let me be clear on what the goal of HSWIS is:
This is not a template guide or a how-to for basic beginning shipbuilders (though we link to several of those), including /u/neuro1g's Baby Steps guide and Prelude to Ten Forward
This is not a copy-and-paste set of build instructions for "optimal DPS." The DPS League website exists to serve that purpose.
This doesn't cover the basics. There's potentially some more work we're going to do in that space, but if you are new to level 65 gameplay, this ain't the one for you.
This is a mechanics guide with a dash of build theory and piloting instructions
If you want to learn how something works in Star Trek Online (at least on the space side of things), we hope this will be a resource to fill that purpose in a single concentrated location.
We hope this is both useful as a comprehensive guide to mechanics as well as a reference for specific items and concepts that will be a bit easier than trawling through the subreddit and its wiki

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
Edit: Thanks for all the awards, kind strangers! I'll let my son know y'all enjoyed his joke too!
I heard parents named their children lance a lot.
First post please don't kill me
Edit: i went to sleep and now my inbox is dead, thank you kind strangers for the awards!

I'm really hoping to see MM for the first time when they tour this great new album. Being a Canadian makes things a bit iffy so far, but I want to make it happen.
I'm curious what everyone's ideal setlist would look like this tour with the new tracks. Taking their average setlist from 2015 touring STO from setlist.fm, something like 15 songs main set and then a three-song encore.
My dream one would be something like:
Fuck Your Acid Trip
Walking and Running
Lampshades on Fire
Tiny Cities Made of Ashes
Doin' the Cockroach
Wooden Soldiers
Fly Trapped in a Jar
Broke
Dashboard
This Devil's Workday
Satin In a Coffin
We Are Between
We're Lucky
Whale Song
King Rat
The Stars Are Projectors
The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box
Encore: (screw it, four songs)
Japanese Trees
Convenient Parking
Float On
Cowboy Dan
Kinda basic, but I picture a lot of the classics just being really fun live anyways, and the more crowd energy the better.
Edit: Extended jams on Tiny Cities and The Ground Walks.
Edit 2: Damn, almost forgot about No One's First. Throwing King Rat and Whale Song in there.
