I've been trying to find this for years and the specific reason why is because I used to be terrified of it when I was younger. I had nightmares about being stuck in the basement with it haha I want to see it again to know why I thought it was so scary
Description: A red/orange rattlesnake coiled up in an upwards spiral to form a tower. Then you would place little plasic balls in it's mouth and they would roll down the tower. It also played music and might have spoken as well, although I can't remember if that was only part of my nightmares and not the actual toy. I think it also had a green tongue sticking out.
I have seriously searched for this thing for years with a variety of search terms to no avail. Please help me recall the rattlesnake who tormented my childhood dreams o wise redditors
Just got a shipping notification from sportsman's guide for 1000 rounds of .223 that I backordered in July of 2020. I kept extending my order Everytime they emailed me asking to cancel. They honored the purchase price of .23cpr... I basically stole this ammo from them at that price.
Anyway, there was a lot of naysayers who told me it was a waste of my time waiting for it to ship but I figured 30 seconds of my day once a month was a pretty good trade off if it worked.
So, don't cancel backordered items from them if you have it locked in at a good price, the wait maybe long but it will pay off.
Can anyone share their experiences purchasing firearms for Sportsman’s and shipping to store? E.g., how long it approx took?
I recently made a purchase on 6/23 and have not received any additional updates other than the purchase confirmation email.
I also reached out to the local store and they mentioned that the order does not register in their system until it’s shipped / in transit.

Checked Sportsmans website tonight. Looks like many of their handguns just went up in price :( . S&W 642, 442, etc up from 420 to 500. Ruger LCR up from 520 to 570….. looks like inflation plus bass pro acquisition are gonna take away the last reasonably priced store in my area :(
