A list of puns related to "Proxy war"
I think I understand general strategy as it relates to France - basically get as many nations into the third international as possible before starting war with Germany. However, I'm not sure of the general strategy for winning wars in other leftist countries using the volunteer forces. Maybe this is just a general problem in my warfare skills in this game, so any tips or advice are welcome
So that's it, there's no more shorting of GME anymore right? Look over at iBorrowDesk and check the list of shorts happening. It's a barren landscape, millions of shares available. Few people are actually shorting GME, right? Which means all of the dips in the chart have been us paper-handed bitches coming to our senses and selling, right?
Fucking wrong.
So if you've been watching the GME subreddit lately you may have seen some people speculating about potentially shorting GME via a proxy, essentially shorting GME using an ETF. The ETF in question is XRT.
So I took a look at XRT and holy shit has there ever been some shorting going on this week. Over 1 million shares of XRT has been shorted. So how does shorting XRT impact GME?
When you take a look at this chart, some things kind of don't quite add up perfectly with the iBorrowdesk times. But if you apply some wiggle-room to the iBorrowDesk times and stick with the dates you'll find things match up a little too fucking perfectly.
My best guess is that iBorrowDesk isn't actually getting real-time updates about when the shorting happens, but they are at least getting updates at the end of the day. This would really explain why it appears like 1 million shares were shorted at the end of the 10th, when it would more logically occur during the fucking tear upward in the middle of that day. Remember when GME went parabolic for a minute on the 10th? They shorted a million goddamn shares to reverse the direction! Holy fuck!
Guys, maybe the shorts covered some of GME. Maybe the interest on it IS down, but what is the current short interest of XRT now?! Shorts are still trying to fuck us, and they're doing it through XRT in order to hide their movements.
Now we need smarter people than me to start analyzing the implications of this.
edit: TL;DR: Hedgies are shorting XRT instead of GME to throw everyone off the scent. This week's parabolic swing up was reversed by shorting 1 Million shares of XRT.
Also, side-note. XRT is currently 3.3 times more expensive to borrow than GME, the fee is 5%. Why would they short XRT and not GME directly? Hmm...
edit 2: According to https://www.etf.com/stock/AMC, XRT also holds 6.5 million shares in AMC. This could be a missing link that explains how AMC and GME price charts became linked in the last few weeks! Thanks to /u/IsleepWithOpenAyes for pointing this out! re
What do you guys think should India continue engage in peace talks or should it remain suspicious and severe diplomatic ties?
I made a mistake in the title in my previous post.
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has created, or knows of any, proxies for the anime, Record of Lodoss War?
I know that this is a really simple question, but for some reason I can't find the answer to it. I'm playing through my first 3K game as Cao Cao and I can't seem to find the button to initiate the proxy war. I have 88 credibility and I can't find the button in the diplomacy or schemes menu. Anyone know where I should be looking for it?
Has anybody got good litertur on the wars in Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan? I have to write a pre- scientific work and need some good sources to base it on
Hey everyone,
I was in touch with r/scoopsahoy with helping me in obtaining a force pack that I can use for my decks. I gave him the files of the LS and DS and he sent me the finished product of the DS. He did an amazing job and I thank him tremendously, but it's been a while in trying to get in touch with him so see how the LS is going. Life for sure may have gotten in the way and was wondering if someone knew how to make the boarderless LS set of 6 cards MPC ready?
I have the files he sent me of the DS that he made MPC ready if you would need that for a reference to successfully make the LS set MPC ready as well. I wish I had the technology or knowledge you all possess, but unfortunately I do not. Thanks in advance.
James
Writing a paper, word is very key. Iβm writing my thesis in history on the caribbean and middle american wars. This word was often used to describe the Spanishβs relation with Cuba, and other mid-american countries.
Hi guys! Need help to find an anime.
I watched it about 3-5 years ago, but it came out before this date since I remember binging it. I'Ll now try to describe the plot. I promise* its not from a fever dream:
Generic MC #69420 is mourning his dead family in the middle of a giant mansion. Outside there is rust snow, tuning people into solid iron figurines. MC not affected. Anyhow, suddenly a girl bursts in who is fighting with a guy using magic. Guy gets caught up in it, fight drags outside to a parking lot like area. Guy is epic strong so our mc and te girl escape (I think).
Turns out there are 2 trees fighting for power, giving their cultists superpowers for generations now. MC joins the good-guy-tree cult, but not fully, more like as the girl's accessory (whos some important priestess or sth). Anyhow, tree #1 wins in the first arc cuz MC hekkin smart and girl is strong. Tree #1 takes over za warudo, killing every criminal and thought criminal (who doesn't worship best-tree). Peace is established in the world. Iron dudes remain iron tho.
Arc 2 starts by the cult not wanting girl to date guy cuz guy might be the tree #2 epic strong cult leader. They suddenly meet another girl who has saw powers, staple of tree #2. They establish that she is not in fact a danger to them. This is where I ended the anime back then.
And no, sadly googling titles like: Game of Trees, Redo of Tree, Attack on Titanium, Tree Wars, I'm a Tree-worshipper so what?, Dr.Iron and the like did NOT provide any results. So really any guides are welcome
^(*may be fever dream. But if it is, damn its a might elaborate one)
EDIT: Solved by u/Korasuka. It is Zetsuen no Tempest.
I love Civ but i hated how they constructed the game. Now i found out about Vox Populi and got curious if it can give me what i really want from a strategy video game? I dont want full scale wars, i dont want AI to go in debt by just producing army, i dont want warmongering, i want small proxy wars with heavy economic contest, and i kinda want a very long game not in terms of building something for 50 turns but just playing for days and treating it like a president of a country simulation type of thing. Sadly i havent found a video game that can give me exactly that so CIV is the only thing i see.
