A list of puns related to "Problematic smartphone use"
Hi guys. Our Ph.D team at the University of Limerick, Ireland, are exploring the problematic smartphone usage and sleep patterns of people aged 18-24. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who use fitness trackers with sleep tracking capability (Fitbit, Garmin, etc.). However, ownership of these devices is not a requirement! If you would like to contribute to this study, please click on the link below to complete a 15-minute questionnaire.
Full details of the study objectives are provided in the participant information sheet. Thanks so much for your time guys!

If so should OnePlus therefore sell official batteries on their website to counter this ?
Today, i found a phone in the street, tried to find out about the owner but the phone didn't have a sim card or any kind of data, It's clean. Not gonna go to the police station (obviously) so I've decided to keep it and now i am wondering if it's safe to use for surfing internet without ever inserting a sim. Can authorities track the phone if it's only used for internet?
Hi guys,
I am currently researching the psychological mechanisms why smartphone use may be linked to mental health. Therefore, I am looking for a diverse sample so that the findings are most representative. Therefore, if you are 18 years or older, I would highly appreciate if you can aid me in this by filling in this 15-minute survey.

Thank you so much!
Who has said/done blatantly horrible things but has somehow slipped through the cracks and still has progressive fans who drag other celebs for the same behavior?
#So, Someone Called Your Favourite Book Problematic?! On the Nature of Contemporary Criticism.
I have thoughts, wrong thoughts, bad thoughts, fun thoughts, good thoughts, I might have True thoughts, so now you get to read them and laugh at or with me or a little mixture of both. Probably both!
I just want to make it clear, this essay is not about authors. It is about books and how we interpret texts differently, and how we react to criticism to those interpretation. Nor am I here to make a value judgement on criticism, or any of the articles I will link. It is a useful thing of personal expression and of trying to see books and the world in a different light is not an accusation.
Also, general You, not specifically you - Maybe I shouldn't have to clarify this but someone this week needed me to specify if I actually believed Witches were real and consorted with devils...
Imaginary-Reply-Guy is not my personal opinion.
##What's in a reading?
I love literary criticism, I like reading and watching people take a work of fiction and look at it through a certain lens, be it from a personal perspective, or from a specific lens, like gender-theory, feminism, Marxism, or something more esoteric. I even like just reading people gushing or hating about a book they've just read even if there's not necessarily a thematic through line.
In general most people's opinions on books will be a little mix, even if they aren't aware of the academic background behind some of these theories, so through a multitude of factors they'll read a book and experience a book differently from others, sometimes it enhances the book for them and sometimes it doesn't.
So you get articles like:
Sometimes this is to highlight a specific aspect of the world, of the book of the reading and how it impacted yo

Okay this is somewhat spurred by a post on the bated sub about how kelly sounds dumb so no wonder her kids areβ¦ itβs how everyone in the Appalachiaβs speaks. there are genuine things wrong with the bates (like they literally named their son after Nathan Bedford Forrest) but calling them dumb because of the way they speak is not just calling them dumb it is calling everyone who lives in the region and speaks like that dumb too. as someone who lives in the appalachian mountains i talk like that, my parents talk like that, everyone i grew up with does. i know people who have taken speech classes to try to correct the accent because people outside the region look down upon it, and i hate that these subs are part of that problem
I think itβs fine cause itβs not hurting anyone and you know yourself best, but a friend of mine thinks itβs always bad to self-diagnose.
There is a recent trend with my generation (commonly referred to as "millennials" although I was born in 2000 so idk if I fall into that category) of replying to criticism from older generations with the words "Ok Boomer"
Now, I completely sympathize with why this trend started. My father is a creationist and a science denier and me and him get into arguments all the time and the amount of times he has pulled "You'll understand when your older" is frustrating. For the sake of my sanity, I've started to discourage arguments of this variety because I know they lead nowhere. And while I personally think OK boomer is unnecessarily pompous and demeaning, that's purely personal preference, I understand its commonly used to just say "you wont listen to reason so whatever"
However, I worry that these words status as a meme will result in their use in inappropriate manners. Such as a cover for when the person doesn't actually have a response to someone's argument, or when the speaker is themselves being stubborn and uncritical. Put cleanly, I fear it may be used to discourage conversations, being used whenever someone of the older generations raises criticism, even if it's fair and warranted, or as a way to avoid the responsibility of responding to fair claims.
Ultimately I think we should be careful of its use, and be sure to not use it to discourage conversations when good conversation could otherwise be had. As long as people using this phrase understand that some "Boomers" (or people who share opinions with boomers) are interested in open conversation then I believe the use of the phrase is fine. To change my view you would need to show me that my fear of the overuse of these words is unfounded.
Edit: To clarify my title, I think we should discourage the use of the word only in situations where its isn't justified. Not discourage the use of the word in general.
Edit: fixed a few words about my father.
Whether that's depop policies, certain top sellers, price gouging, scammers, etc.
For those registering today, I recommend just registering the classic way by entering in a course and then adding your CRN's via the Add Classes worksheet after you register for one class.
I had registration this morning and followed the instructions for adding a plan, but that crashed 3 times and took a significant amount of time. That resulted in me attempting to do individual CRN's in the new system, which crashed it too. So I resorted to just doing classic searching and adding through the Add Classes worksheet and was able to register for my classes.
But because of all the wasted time this morning from having some faith in the new system after GMU saying the issues were fixed, I'm now stuck on a waitlist for a class that I was going to register for (and I doubt the number of people that would have to drop it for me to get into the class will really drop by January).
So do yourself a favor and save time by just registering the "original" way.
Rachel is spewing another black & white narrative on her podcast about inner growth, accountability, and living your own βjourneyβ the way you want it. Everyone else who isnβt cheering you on are toxic Karens with nothing of value to provide. They only live in regret and sadness in your world.
Things can be done with both love and fear Rachel! How can you NOT see that?! To me, the TRUE test of being courageous is to choose to embrace yourself- but sheβs not there. Her immaturity is embarrassing and so cringe!!
Paired with her embarrassing pastoral/pentecoastal rhetoric and body language, sheβs beconing more and more cartoonish to me. I actually had to laugh! Before today, I felt unease from her. But today, I can only laugh. The shallowness is deafening.
RACHEL You have learnt nothing. You havenβt grown βinside ofβ yourself to monetize your following with a good conscious personal or business mind. Youβre a pompous fake without any real grounding work consistently done.
All I see during these last weeks is a Rachel that tries to put on a brave face and to portray a female fragility to hide her true self. But itβs all for show and to monetize women who want to be seen and heard.
Just chosing the word stuck is stale af. So passΓ© and over. Regurgitating old content.
No thanks!!
EDIT: For clarity.
Which leaves me with one question.
Who are you Rachel?
