A list of puns related to "Postscript"
I think asking this kind of thing can come with an assumption like "there's no reason to" but that's not what I mean at all, I have no stance, I've just barely looked at it.
I'm just wondering if anyone has some opinions about why or where PS is relevant in a time where high level language libraries can handle a lot of drawing solutions. Thanks!

"Why are we still sitting here? Shouldn't one of your shuttles have arrived to pick us up by now?"
The ranger took a moment to luxuriate in the poacherβs growing impatience.
Serves you right, the man thought vindictively before he replied. "We're sitting here because you still won't tell Hub where your ship is. Or anything about it. I don't want some tuned-up racer with a mining laser trying to engage us and rescue you en-route to the station.
The shuttles are very intentionally not combat craft, which is why so many governments - even ones unaffiliated with the OCF - are willing to let us put ranger stations in orbit around their backwater worlds. My point being that even insecure, wealthy civilians like your boss can afford hardware capable of threatening them.
Of course, you could just spill the beans and save us both a few more hours of sightseeing in this lovely but perhaps insufficiently varied jungle clearing." He turned to the poacher and cocked his head expectantly.
The mottled brush-coloured bundle stared at him levelly. "I already told you I can't do that."
The ranger shrugged back. "I remember. I didn't say anything about the wait then, because it's a transient perk of the job to watch scumbags squirm."
Somehow, he detected the poacher rolling their eyes beneath their helmet.
"You know, you're awfully sanctimonious for someone who doesn't know anything about me," the ghillie suit griped.
The ranger scoffed. "Oh please, this is me dialing it down. How long did you spend coasting here on zero-emissions so we couldn't spot you on the way in? This is a premeditated act of theft from the Garidien government. Not to mention you've almost certainly introduced invasive microorganisms to this world's biosphere whose impact will not be fully understood for decades or centuries."
The poacher made to reply, and the Ranger interrupted. "Spare me the justification, I've heard 'em all.
'Just doing what my boss tells me,' 'Everyone needs to earn a living,' 'I tried to obtain a license from their government but their xenophobic officials denied me!'
That last one is pure fabrication by the way, the Garidiens are easy as pie. They don't issue licenses for shit on Oh-Nine-Three and I'm literally the first person they would tell if they were even thinking about it."
"Actually I was going to say that I followed very strict decontamination prot

This time I managed to hit my goal of 5 lines (80 columns) for all but two days (19 and 23), with total line count of 100. Some of the solutions make questionable assumptions, so they may not work for every input. And they sure aren't the fastest you could do with Awk (e.g. linear priority queues). But the total runtime remained quite reasonable at ~70 s, slowest being day 15 at ~20 s.
I also solved the puzzles in PostScript (except 19, 23) with some having visualisations. I found PostScript quite nice for adding a quick (2d) visualisations. One day (trick shot) I even used the graphics state exclusively to track the x,y point, using relative line/move commands to add the velocity vector each time step.
So, here's the repo.
The "Postscript" of the US English edition of The Anthropocene Reviewed begins with a note about the German title of the book, and what it means transliterated to English.
But of course, a direct translation of that note would be nonsense in German. Does anyone have the German edition and can share what, if anything, the final chapter says about the book's title?
Has anyone been there? I stopped by yesterday as it's only been open for a week. I'm curious about what other people's opinion are. IMO, it is very uninspiring and I left with the feeling that I'd never come back. The FanDuel book at the Live! casino, which is a 15 minutes drive from the Horseshoe, is simply captivating.
Online/mobile won't be live in Maryland until late next year. There are self-serve kiosks though within the casinos.

The tangible problem I had with Caesars was that I couldn't place a bet on the Formula 1 Drivers Championship. They had the Constructors Championship (which was -1400, or similar) for Mercedes and the Abu Dhabi race with the normal F1 market bets. I went to the book with the intention of wagering on Verstappen to win the Drivers. That market wasn't available which was very strange and the supervisor I no answer as to why. I should have checked the kiosks. I wound up betting on him to win the race. That had more risk as there are more ways Max could have won the championship, but only one way to win the race. I didn't know the line on championship, but I got +105 on the win. In the end it didn't matter much as I just wagered $50. Oh, and that was my first ever sports bet :)
I just saw The French Dispatch last weekend, and immediately watched it again on digital, this time after reading the script, which added a lot to the experience (such as some tidbits that are hard to notice without pausing, scenes that are changed or removed from the official cut, etc.).
One thing I noticed is that both in the film and the script, the last line of Zeffirelli's postscript to Krementz is not read because she deems it βcompletely indecipherable due to poor penmanshipβ (the script even mentions an Extreme Close-up shot of this line, but I guess it was cut out of the film). But looking at the shot where the actual line appears, it doesn't seem that illegible - at least no more than the paragraph preceding it. So I'm wondering if this is something that Krementz just wants to keep for herself and not share with the readers & editors of TFD, since it's basically >!his last words to her!<.
So yeah, just wondering if anybody managed to figure out what it says. It's only 6 words but too small and blurry for me to make out more than maybe 2-3 words. Maybe someone who has a copy with better resolution / can fiddle with the exposure/contrast of the screenshot / is a handwriting expert can Scooby Doo this for us all.
The actual postscript above it is below for reference:

... keep reading on reddit β‘So I just got Tama back. There is an exclamation over the colloseum to berry but I've done them all. There is a star over the girls tea room, and I have 11 Arma gems, but I've done all of those that are listed as well. I've talked to Tama, seraphim, the girl with no name, and everyone else I can think of to talk to. I can't get back into Exnine, as it's red when I visit the teleporter and it's not in my list of teleports from 9wood. What am I doing wrong?? I tried posting in the /world of final fantasy group but it's apparently closed now.
Hi Everyone,
Momo (author of Martial Peak) wrote a postscript so we know his new novel's name is δΊΊιε€§ε£ (in English: "The Great Sage of Humanity").
Here's my rough translation of the postscript (since some sites don't seem to have it up):
>I am in a complicated mood, I don't know where to start, so I'll just write casually.
>
>On October 17, 2012, Martial Peak began serialization, and on September 25, 2021, Martial Peak ended.
>
>Nearly nine years, 18.33 million words.
>
> When I typed the whole book and finished three words, my whole person seemed to be exhausted, tired, relieved, and more reluctant.
>
>Even if you raise a child, the child has grown up in the span of nine years.
>
>For me, Martial Peak, a child whom I have been raising for nine years, is finally leaving me today, and it is very uncomfortable.
>
>I often see book friends in the comment area asking when Martial Peak will end. They say things like "I was a junior high school student when I read Martial Peak, and now my kids are all playing soy sauce..."
>
>In fact, during Martial Peak's creation process, there were two finalization plans, one was at the end of the Gloom (Shadowed) Star plot, and the other was at the end of the Astral (Star Boundary) Plot, but due to some external and my own reasons, this plan was postponed.
>
>How many nine years can a person's life be? The Young Mo of that year has also become the Old Mo of today.
>
>These nine years can be said to be the most important nine years in my life.
>
>During this period, children were born one after another, and my role in life was promoted from husband to father. In today's society, the cost of having children is too great. Without Martial Peak, there would be no money for children's diapers and milk powder. Therefore, here, Lao Mo would like to bow to all the book friends and friends on behalf of the little Mos in the family. Thank-you for your unrelenting support over the past nine years. It is your subscriptions, time, and rewards that allowed us to have strong and prosperous growth!
>
>Thank-you sincerely!
>
>In nine years, 18.33 million words, the calculation speed is not fast, especially in the later period, everyone should be able to notice that the update has become very slow. Because at that time, the countdown to the end has already entered. Firstly, the plot is very complic
I realized that I had accidentally installed the virtual printing feature within the Horizon Agent instead of Integrated Printing. So I thought I could just modify the setup, remove one and the add the other. When I tried to do that, and now uninstalled/re-installed the agent many times I run into the same error in the log file,
vdmInstUtil: 10/09/21 20:32:15 WARNING: failed to uninstall driver (VMware PostScript Printer Driver) with error code 1797
The install fails and rollsback
I have found other forums where people have come across this exact situation but no one has provided a fix that I can find.
I'm trying to install version 7.13.0 but have also tried 7.13.1 and 8.1.0, all produce the same error.
I can install these fine without integrated printing or virtual printing selected
No reboots are pending
I'm using vmtools 11.2.0, I have uninstalled/re-install it as well
Any other suggestions?
This season was the best season since 2016. This is the best Indian bowling unit ever assembled by RCB. It wasn't to be this year but its all a part of life.
Its been great following the IPL with you guys! <3
Hope to see you guys next year.
I have troubles getting started with fonts on a new mac. I have some fonts on my macbook pro that work fine, installed in RightFont and Suitcase. These are Font PostScript files and Font Suitcase files (I don't have otf or ttf and no way of converting them either after some attempts).
I cannot install them on the mac mini though. I compressed them before transferring them, somewhere I read that would be necessary, unzipped them on the mac mini and tried to import/install them but no luck.
Thanks for help!
To anyone who knows postscript, how do you remove a specific value from an array? I have been searching and could find nothing. Cannot even find any command to remove on postscript either. All I am able to do is print out arrays or add to the array. I cannot even filter the array, which I would also like to learn how to do.
Was that the audio from an actual cameo for Dak? I had to take a break from work to laugh through it. Anyway, Gannon bless the NeoScum.
My blog post for Friday, July 2nd, 2021.
Feel free to ask questions.
Anyone have feedback to share on emotive and/or postscript for SMS marketing on shopify? Trialing both and still unconvinced on the right path. Any insight would be helpful!
