A list of puns related to "Peter Fonda"
Easy Rider has just come out, Simon and Garfunkel are about to release Bridge Over Troubled Water, and the three men are the epitome of counter-culture cool. They're all pretty stoned, and Paul Simon turns to Peter Fonda, and says, "Hey, Peter, you wanna see something really groovy?"
Peter Fonda is like, "Yeah, man, I dig."
Paul Simon pulls up his shirt, revealing an incredibly ripped six-pack. His abs are toned to perfection. Fonda raises his eyebrows. "Yeah, that's cool, man." But Paul Simon isn't finished. "No wait man, it gets better!"
At this point Art Garfunkel starts looking a bit distressed. "No, Paul," he says, "I don't wanna do it. Don't make me do it." His musical counterpart is unrepentant, though. "Don't be such a downer, man," says Simon, and he starts flexing his impressive washboard stomach. He's doing yogic breathing, standing crunches, all kinds of abdominal exercises, and starts working up quite a sweat. Peter Fonda watches, intrigued, while Art Garfunkel is getting more and more upset. "I don't wanna do it, man!"
After a few minutes of vigorous core exercises, Paul Simon pulls out a bandana and wipes the sweat off his stomach - then, with the speed of a striking snake, he thrusts the sweat-soaked cloth under Art Garfunkel's nose. Garfunkel recoils, and his eyes roll back in his head. Then, to Peter Fonda's amazement, the curly-haired musician starts to increase in size. Within the space of a few minutes, Garfunkel gains nearly a foot in height. He looks uncomfortable. His clothes are stretched - torn, in some places - and his feet have burst through the toes of his shoes. Then, after a moment or two, he shrinks back to his normal dimensions, glaring angrily at Paul Simon.
"Wow, man," says Peter Fonda. "That's hip. That's a cool trick. How d'ya do it?"
"Oh, it's easy," says Paul Simon. "Ab scents make the Art grow, Fonda."
