My dad was injured in a head-on collision a few days ago. His vehicle is totaled, and he has a broken rib and is in serious pain. Thankfully he is alive.
The driver who hit him lost control of his vehicle and slid into the lane my father was driving in. My father has a police report and X-rays of his injury. My father is on ODSP for heart issues and this has made his daily life even more difficult.
He has contacted his insurance and notified them of everything. Should he be contacting a Lawyer or should he wait to see what his insurance company says? Any recommendations for personal injury lawyers in London for car accidents?
I was rear ended in a car crash and after a few hours passed out and ended up in the hospital.
I hired lawyers to deal help me deal with insurance and make sure I get the help I need. Now I have someone elses insurance wanting to speak to me.
Whats going on. My lawyer hasnt responded yet ( they are the free kind). Did my lawyer sue the Lady who hit me? I thought all they did was help with my insurance.
Why woould the ladies lawyer contact me?

I’m 16, and a week ago i was involved in a fender bender with another driver and her husband while changing lanes. the damage on both of our cars was pretty minor, but my front fender hit her passenger back door. immediately she got out of her car and called an ambulance because she and her husband were coming back from a doctors appt. the ambulance was there for MAYBE 2 minutes because they ruled that no one was actually hurt, and even the police officers that were there also told me that no one was injured, and her husband was fine. now the lady and her husband are both claiming they’re some how “hurt,” and are suing my parents insurance. My family’s insurance thinks her claims are bs and they’re just seeking money. The whole legal drama is supposedly going to last 5-6 months. Is there ANY possibility that my insurance could offer zero medical compensation or even throw out their lawsuit? I know the money is coming from insurance and not our personal pockets, but no one is hurt and it pisses me off that these people are seeking money and pity for no reason at all.
