So, first, let me say this, I'm very much a supporter in the LGTBQ+ community, but I'm a cis male and I've got MANY a question to ask in regards to my 11 year old niece! And PLEASE let me know if anything that I'm asking is too much, I'm not asking it in the right way, if I'm coming offensively (which, I'm genuinely not aiming or wanting to do)
Second, let me tell you that my niece has been through A LOT of BS in her short 11 years, from custody battles and hearings, to different locations on where her mother has lived and currently resides, and A PLETHORA of other issues, and feel that's both imperative and important to know.
Third, roughly a year ago, my fiancé received a note from her/our niece (this is my fiancé's brother's oldest daughter btw) that read, "I like girls. Happy Pride!" And it was colorful and made in a rainbow flag type of way. Honestly, it was REALLY cool!
Lastly, here's where my confusion of the situation begins and where many of my questions start! Lol. Sure constantly talks about her boyfriend, like many pre-teens do, she seems happy with this boy, and all that, but does this mean my niece is bi? Or bi-curious? What was the purpose of the note she wrote my fiancé if she isn't actively looking to be with girls? Is this something I'm allowed (term loosely used here) to talk to her about these things? What're some of the women's experiences here like? Idk, maybe I'm overthinking it, but honestly, I'm a father of two girls as well (they're 6 & 4), and I'd like to be far more prepared, as in preparation of how to navigate these obstacles for my daughters as well. My niece and my children's sexuality is there's too decide and their decision is to what fits best for them, and them alone! I'm going to support that no matter what, and l protect all 3 of them to the ends of the earth to allow them to do so. Having said that, it doesn't mean I'm not going to have questions and thoughts, because I'm a very observant, thoughtful, empathetic, and altruistic person.
Any help that this wonderful group would give me would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. - through those traumatic times as a little child she had to endure, she's not overly comfortable with men to begin with. Not that her and I don't have a great relationship, because we do, but know that most of this is for my own knowledge and to help me further assist her in anyways that I can if she is comfortable with speaking with me about such subjects.

I recently started taking Ko-Fi seriously, and even bought gold, but there are some features which seem a bit lacking.

I'm currently working on a project where I'm trying to perform key information extraction (KIE) and classification on rental property operating statements. My plan is to pre-train a model on a similar dataset (e.g. [IBM FinTabNet](https://developer.ibm.com/exchanges/data/all/fintabnet/), etc.) and then fine-tune on a custom dataset I'm creating. My task is to:
- Identify the key:value pairs associated with each line item for each period in the statement. So for example, for the first line item, we'd have a 3-tuple of ('Rent income', 'Nov 2020', 21,428.03)
- Identify the key:value pairs associated with the total for each line item in the statement. So for example, for the first line item, we'd have a 3-tuple of ('Rent income', 'Total', 322,872.36)
- Automatically classify line items by their type ('income' or 'expense') and predict a category for them based on the line item description. So for example, in the attached screenshot, the 'Rent Income' line item is identified as belonging to the 'income' side of the statement and gets mapped to the standard category label 'rent'.
Based on the problem I'm thinking it's going to be important for the model to be able to learn a representation from the semantic content contained in the layout of the table in addition to language level content. Based on the literature it seems like this is a pretty new domain. I've been reading the papers on [BertGrid](https://arxiv.org/abs/1909.04948), [KIE](https://arxiv.org/abs/2103.14470), and some of the new table extraction/understanding research coming out of [Microsoft](https://arxiv.org/abs/2010.12537) and [Google](https://aclanthology.org/2020.acl-main.398/). My main questions that I'm hoping for guidance on are:
- Considering the task, does the annotation method I've outlined in the screenshot below seem sensical? I've also thought about just annotating the line items themselves and then just parsing that using some sort of delimiting heuristic.
- The main thing I've been struggling with is how to create an embedding that combines the table structure with the text content. It seems like given cells indexed by row 'i' and column 'j', something with dimensions like (i, j, word_embedding) might work, but my gut instinct is that
Today I was in a parking lot on a thoroughfare and a driver backed into me at a pretty fast speed causing significant body damage to the back right side of my passenger door including denting to the door frame. Driver was extremely erratic, aggressive (honestly seemed to be under the influence of something) and starting causing a big scene about how I was framing them for the accident. Their scheme was I was using this incident to cover “for damage from another accident I had in my car” (I have never been in an accident) and how the correlating damage on their car on the bumper was just “from another unrelated accident”. I was completely calm and just telling them we need to exchange appropriate information and that’s all I was asking for them to provide. I eventually started recording to show proof of where the vehicles were located, where the accident happened and at what time. I also have them on video refusing to provide the information needed.They continued to berate me and act totally outrageous until two bystanders stepped in to attempt to help me in getting them to give me the information and stop harassing me. They left the scene refusing to provide any information. I had to call the police and make a report to obtain their information, in which the police came to the scene and reviewed all the footage and found me at no fault. The police advised me this person has had multiple similar incidents and accidents .. and they would not advise exchanging contact information with them after the incident considering the behaviour of the other party being so unstable. I would of been willing to settle outside of insurance, but at this point it’s beyond that. I’m just wondering what happens next? I filed the police report and am waiting to hear back from an adjuster. I just don’t feel great about having to go through insurance because I am worried my rates will increase. What are the likelihood insurance will find me at fault because it was in a parking lot? I just don’t know if the 50/50 rule would apply. Thanks so much in advance, feeling really shaken up. Just bought a small piece of land. Been waiting years and finally decided now or never with how cheap the property was. I didn’t want to buy acres and go into debt or overwhelm myself on such a huge piece of land to take care of starting out.

Looking at most permaculture websites, and YouTube and books most people seem to have at a minimum of 1/4 acre to have enough to sustain themselves or have a permaculture garden/food forest.

I'm 17 years old and I grew up in a JW Family, and have been forced to blindly and unwillingly attend meetings, door to door, speeches, etc. Only recently have I begun to discover why I never was invested into this cult. Because it's not so good after-all.
I just don't understand how my parents believe this kind of crap. They're genuinely smart people, I'm not even kidding, but how could they not see they're in a cult!? I'm 17 and their son and could tell that this is all bullshit for god's sake.
Anyways, I got off track.
I live in a European country where going to the military is mandatory at the age of 18. Obviously as a JW there's the option of doing community service for a year, but as far as I know you need to be at least baptized in order to go for this option. Otherwise I'm gonna have to go to the military, which will only piss off my family and the plebs over at JW and potentially get shunted (I don't actually they would go that far, but I'm scared shitless. I don't want them to stop loving me).
But getting baptized means you can get disfellowshipped after you decide that the cult just ain't for you anymore. And then, my own family won't be able to reach me. I don't want that either.
My current plan? Keep pretending and lying as long as I can until I can get through. Get baptized, go through community service. Then, I get my life settled, a job, apartment, all that.. you know. Live a separate life in secret. And when all that's done, I'm gonna set myself free from the talons of this cult, and wave goodbye to my family.
This is an awful plan, no doubt. But I'm running out of time. I need to respond to the military. I genuinely don't know what to do, which is why I reached you all wonderful people. Please, what should I do in my situation?

The title says pretty much half the story. I am currently 19 years old going to school full time to finish my degree in Computer Information Systems. My expected graduation date is June 2022. On top going to school full time, I also work full time (third shift) as an Operations Center Technician in a NOC at a data center. As for certifications, I only have the Google IT Support Specialization.
I've switched majors I think at least three times now, going from Computer Science → Cybersecurity → Information Technology → Computer Information Systems (now).
As a Technician, I'm mainly dealing with notifying, communicating, and escalating customer issues on a daily basis; however, it is night shift, so it is pretty occasional. I basically work in the equivalent of help desk, but for data centers. Some services I use to perform my job duties are: Mission Critical Information Management (MCIM), Salesforce, PagerDuty, Microsoft Office 365, Evironet, and some other major ones I don't use as often. When work is slow, which it typically is, I complete my schoolwork and assigned reports by my supervisor.
I've been working at this position for around four months at this time, and questions lingered in my mind as to what lies beyond this position in the future for me. I do not exactly see any further advancement in my current company, so I've been looking looking around to see what I can move up to in the near future.
Wage wise, I currently make $26.53/hour or $52k a year without overtime; however, I do live in a high cost of living area. Benefits are okay.
Given the information provided, I have some questions on what I should be doing now and what the future possibly holds for me career wise. I know you guys aren't fortune tellers, but you also most likely are more experienced in these types of things, as you've been through it.
- Is there anything else I should be doing education wise to improve my chances of furthering my career? (i.e. CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA)
- What careers fields would be a possibility given my soon to be degree and my work experience and what are their correlated wages/salaries?
- I've noticed that I work very well with people, whether it be clients or coworkers.
- I kinda dig the office work environment.

We’re relocating to WLG and keen on a property with no parking in Tinakori Rd. It’s also on the exemption list of properties eligible for Resident Parking. It’s located above a store.
I’ve tried searching for details/maps re: coupon zones in Thorndon to assess distance from the property via WCC and Thorndon Residents Association websites - as well as randomly choosing addresses in surrounding streets to zoom in on parking signs 😂 but no real luck.
Q1: Does anyone have a link showing the actual coupon zones in Thorndon? Or, does the Coupon Zone mapCoupon Zone mean every legal park in the mapped area (outside Resident Parking) exists as a Coupon Zone park?
Q2: If we get a coupon exemption for the Tinakori residence, does this mean we are also able to park freely in Hobson St, Thorndon as it is in the same Coupon zone? (We work and school within 1 mins walk - forgive me for seeing how I can game this system on rainy days with little ones lol)
Q3: For my own understanding, why would most of the properties eligible for Tinakori Rd resident parking (352-382) have driveways and garages?
