A list of puns related to "Nokia N900"

Just as a reference, here descriptions of Nokia's N900 and N9:

There was also an N9-00 who had a physical keyboard like the N900, and the N950. As far as I know, only a few developers could get them. Some of the rare photos and descriptions one finds are here:

Edit: Just want to add that the project, while using refurbished N900's casing, is a continuation of the OpenMoko project, and is non-commercial in nature.
I'm trying to install postmarketOS (with phosh) on my "new" Nokia n900, the installation worked (the menu entry exists in u-boot, and i see some systemd usual lines of text being written on the postmarketOS logo), but then... nothing?
I get a black screen, no reaction if i touch it, press a keyboard key or the volume or the photo button. When i open the keyboard it has the backlight on. When i press the power button it displays "^@" and shutdown.
The last lines printed before the screen turns black are about device-mapper failing to lookup some devices, and i found this https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.22/+bug/115616 but i'm not sure what it means, i don't even know if it's relevant, and i don't want to break something. Do you have any clue?

Hi all,
There's a new update on the neo900 smartphone!
Summary:
It sounds like some of the foundries the project approached weren't happy with some of the open hardware plans the project had. (Not a lot of detail on that part...)
They've picked up a new electronic design engineer, [metacollin] who is also a KiCAD guru & contributor :D
Expected timeline for prototype v2 layout completion is ~5 weeks (2nd week of October)
For hose who haven't heard of it, the neo900 project is designed to replace the internals of Nokia N900 phones with more modern, open, hardware as well as a completely open software & firmware stack.
Thought I'd post this in here since the last neo900 update garnered some attention. [sn0wmonster], the project's new PR person, is doing a good job so far of keeping the site updated, so props to them. The project has had some setbacks over its lifetime, so it's nice to see it progressing again.
I will be playing around with this (will install pmOS). Where can I get Nokia N900 now? If possible, anybody selling in India?
I just got an N900. What do I need to do? Do I need to update? It currently is Version: 20.2010.36-2.002. I tried installing postmarketOS, but got stuck after it told me to run some script to install kernel. Thanks!
While I'm doing some search for new/used Nokia Lumia 1020 at a Malaysian online shopping site, I came across an ad for a 2009 Nokia phone called the N900. A quick search about that phone revealed that it runs on Maemo 5, which is a Nokia developed mobile OS based on Linux.
That got me thinking: Is it possible for me to install any full, proper Linux distro on that Nokia? For once, I would like to try that out.
I got pmOS installed and running, the only problem is that the keyboard layout won't be as the one shown on their wiki page. However if I don't start the window manager, in this case i3, the keyboard layout works perfectly. I can type <> in there, but whenever I log into i3 and open a terminal there, it won't work. Is there something I am missing?
I rΓͺcntly bought an old N900, but the ROM inside it is so outdated, I canβt even check my IMEI using *#0000#. Please help
My old phone (nokia N900) has a lot of my pictures and videos (memories), unfortunately years ago, i broke the digitizer ribbon cable so now it has no touch input. Now i just want to recover my data but to do that i have to go past the lock screen, i can't go past the enter lock code screen because i have no touch input. I still know the lock code but how can i enter it? https://imgur.com/a/1nyZe
Been stuck with the same phone for over a year (Palm Treo Pro, which I like). Had a Nokia E71 prior to that, which was OK. I almost bought the Nokia N97, but after playing with one and reading the reviews, I'm passing on Symbian and Ovi for the near future unless things change a lot. The N900 judging from everything I've seen and read is going to be a solid winner. Linux, 800x480 screen, full keyboard, excellent processor, 32gb of memory onboard. I think I might be sold. Opinions anyone?
EDIT: Holy crap, no MMS? WTF?
