A list of puns related to "Miami Vice"
The Miami Heat are set to retire the βViceβ uniform Collection theyβve had the last four years. According to Heat Marketing Exec, Jennifer Alvarez, the Vice uniforms were a success:
> βThe year that we released our first Vice uniform, we proved that the design on the front of a jersey can actually be just as powerful, if not more powerful, than the name on the back.β
Some other facts I found surprising about the collection:
Total revenue of the Vice era has doubled that of the Big Three era with more than $25 million in sales, according to the team.
In December 2020 alone, the Heatβs final ViceVersa installment accounted for one-third of the NBAβs total jersey sales revenue during the holiday season, generating $2.1 million, according to the team.
In May 2020, ESPN ranked the Vice collection (before the debut of the ViceVersa edition) at No. 8 on the list of the top 74 jerseys in the history of the NBA.
More than 650,000 Vice-themed items sold accounting for 67% of the franchiseβs retail revenue, according to the Heat.
The team acknowledges that theyβve debated making the Vice theme permanent, but as of now, theyβre retiring it for something new, which the team says that current players are looking forward to wearing.
Will miss the Vice jerseys. Of all the City uniforms, the Heat (& Jazz) did it the best!

Apparently the marketing team has something crazy in store. Check out the quote below!!
βAs much as we love Vice, we really love whatβs coming,β McCullough said. βWhatβs next is going to blow peopleβs minds. The players saw it for the first time earlier this week and they love it. They canβt wait to wear it. We canβt wait to drop this one on people. Because itβs something thatβs never been done before with a uniform.β
If this is the case, Iβm very exciting. The original Vice unis lit the league on fire so if the players βcanβt wait to wearβ these new ones, thatβll be awesome.
Phil's appearance as the criminal game show host/televangelist on the second season of Miami Vice in the mid-80s is fairly well known, but I hadn't seen it in a long time. For fun, I watched it again recently. Check out some of the character's names!

It doesnβt have the same pizazz as seasons 1-2. Am I right for feeling this way or is it just me
Is Miami Vice (the 80's series) available on Hulu? It shows up but there is no option to play.
Anyone know why this is?
Hey, so one of the problems when watching Miami Vice is the order of the episodes, the biggest problem being the finale of the show placed so that there are 4, so called, "Lost Episodes" after it. I'm just going to copy paste the correct episode order from another site so that you guys have it all in one place and most importantly, the way the text was written on that site spoils some of the most important events in the show, including the end, so to avoid any and all spoilers you can use this post!
Also, there is a scene in Season 4 episode "Deliver Us From Evil" which was added by NBC later on which WASN'T ORIGINALLY PLANNED, and the scene is VERY crucial to the show and the characters of the show. With that being said, it's "recommended" that you don't even acknowledge that scene because it ruins the point of the episode.
"When Miami Vice was originally broadcast by NBC, the order in which the episodes were shown was ultimately chosen by the network. In several instances, this involved moving episodes earlier or later in the season, which in turn introduced continuity goofs that are obvious to anyone watching the show in the supposedly "correct" broadcast order. The purpose of this article is to propose an alternate "chronological" order in which to view the episodes, so that any goofs brought about by the reordering of episodes are undone."

SEASON 1

Season 1 is not affected by any obvious continuity goofs as a result of reordering.
βDutch Ovenβ, an episode from S2, was filmed as a S1 episode, and there is a small goof where Tubbs still has a silver badge, and Switekβs beard disappears for one episode. It should be watched -technically- after Lombard.β - thanks to u/jaap_null for pointing this out!

SEASON 2

I'd downloaded the first three seasons (dvd rips) in 2013 but never watched them. I had the Jan Hammer soundtrack and would love listening to Crockett's Theme and especially Payback which I play when I keep dying in videogames, the song pumps me up to win and settle the score β it was also my mobile ringtone for years. I would even watch the scene on Youtube when Crockett goes to the jail and be mesmerised. I loved 'Grand Theft Auto Vice City' as a kid. I'm a massive fan of Michael Mann's 'Thief' (1981) and adore William Friedkin's 'To Live and Die in L.A.' (1985) which I've heard was heavily influenced by MV so these also had me place the show on my watchlist. So finally in September 2020 I started with βMy Brother's Keeperβ pilot episode and was transported to a magical time and place with Miami in the mid-1980s.
The city of Miami is a character in the show. The pastel colour scheme they'd selected make the setting so idiosyncratic and unique. The original synthesised music scored by Jan Hammer is so iconic and accompanies the scenes perfectly. I love the range in his music and it's a shame that he left but I will defend Tim Truman's darker guitar work in season 5 as it helps differentiate tone and fits well just in a different way. I loved hearing the licensed music from familiar artists and discovering new songs I've never heard before. 80's music has always easily appealed to me over any other decade β especially compared to the talentless trash that is pushed to the forefront in the charts today. MV is filled with excellent songs from all genres. I've downloaded every song and Iβve made albums based on each season. The moment the show truly kicked in and ascended to amazing status for me begins in 'Calderone's Return Part ll' when Crockett and Tubbs are driving on his boat and a glorious montage of previous events play in their minds. They have to even the odds and drive to avenge Lt Rodriguez whilst Russ Ballard's 'Voices' plays β It's truly one of the coolest things I've ever experienced in a film or TV show.
The outfits looks absolutely amazing and so stylish, completely reflecting the lifestyle and characters the detectives are representing themselves as extravagant high stakes players to average people and criminals. It's a shame to hear people talk about this clothing as dated or embarrassing as for the era and context of the 1980s they look exquisite and badass. Rico Tubbs is especially dressed to the nines in his suits impeccably. I ca
