A list of puns related to "Mawlid in Algeria"
Hi guys, I saw some Daily Star articles about a Sufi celebration of the Prophet's Birthday so I was thinking about heading there tomorrow to check it out. But I cant find any detaila online, does anyone know anything more specific about this?
They go on to face Nigeria in the next round.
This was the tournamentβs final match to be played outside of Cairo.
Why is it interesting:
Cannabis is a soft drug. Less dangerous than alcohol and tobacco (both of them are legal already). Science backs the safety of cannabis compared to many other culturally accepted substances.
It is agriculturally possible to grow large fields of cannabis in Algeria.
Instead of drug dealers and traffickers, we would have business owners and transporters. This would create jobs and expose consumers to lesser risks.
Quality control and consumer protection.
Having hotels and coffee shops offering recreational cannabis would transform tourism in Algeria. Millions of people would be interested in witnessing the Sahara while being able to enhance their experience with cannabis for example.
Please, don't rush into comparing cannabis to alcohol or cocaine, don't link its consumption with crime. Instead, read about its effect and how legalization is working in Canada, California, Colorado, Washington, Netherlands, ...
The 8th of Mars is generally misunderstood in Algeria, as it is considered 'Aid el Maraa', meanwhile it's a day for women rights and the long road of both women and men defending the rights of Eve, now if we speak about most of developed countries I honestly don't think that women rights are a problem any more, most of feminism mouvement there are just defending some futility and non primal rights, but here in Algeria women is still considered a sub-human(and I am not overreacting) a usual day of most women here goes from sexual harassement out to conjugal harassment passing by a whole society system that consider women as a reason of all evil (chta 3lach marahich tih ? euh bcz of women, corona 3lach ja? do i need to answer?), a women testimony is not accepted in tribunals even if that women is a doctor, some parents still forbid their girls of education and the list is long.
So I wanted to take this opportunity (and yes we should think about that the whole year not just the 8th Mars) to participate even a little in the improvement of women state in Algeria, I know most Redditors aren't holding a 5th century mentality and that most of you here respect and consider women but be involved to improve the situation in your circle, that's the minimum we can do for our lovely mothers, sisters, friends, girlfriends, and for humanity in general.
PS: Any respectable different points of views are the most welcome.
From the information that I've gathered so far:
It seems that there is sufficient evidence (in actuality the first two points are more than enough) to say that marking a separate day as the birthday of the Prophet SAW, and celebrating that day is an innovation to Islam.
I believe if there is any single action that would benefit ourselves and the Ummah, (in terms of worship) our Prophet SAW would not have left it out of his own actions and deprived his Ummah of the rewards that would have been gained.
And as such, there is evidence from the Hadith that the Prophet SAW mentioned he was born on a Monday, and the Quran was first revealed to him on a Monday, and he that fasted on Mondays.
Your thoughts, brothers and sisters?
My apologies if I have missed something out or said anything incorrect. Anything incorrect comes from myself alone, and is not attributed to Allah or his Messenger.
My last therapist used religion whenever she could to justify stuff, and it felt to me like she was guilt tripping me.
Are all therapists like that here ?
