A list of puns related to "Mark Rober"
I'm seeing more and more on twitter people tagging Mark Rober asking him not to support Next for Autism. Is there a history of problems with this charity?

This is super random but if you havenβt watched Mark Rober on YouTube you should check him out. Heβs an ex-NASA engineer who makes super high-effort, extremely wholesome videos. Watch his two squirrel obstacle course videos and youβll see what I mean. Just felt like shilling for someone who is a genuinely great human being.

As anyone should be. The fundraiser is going to indirectly support eugenics research and ABA.
As much as I dislike some of the stuff NEXT does, I love seeing the discussion moved in this direction.
I think that popular YouTuber Mark Rober has already peaked regarding the quality of his content for a few reasons.
I don't by any means think that he is a bad youtube nor will I stop watching his content but I think he may have peaked.
At one point mark speaks about his sons future "my son may never walk on the moon or create a vacciene "
Does Mark have any idea what autistic people have accomplished? Mark is an engineer. A profession that is known for having a lot of autistic people working as.
There are so many insanely successful people with autism, as well as those who are widely speculated to have it.
He also seems to think that all autistic people will amount to is cute little people that make people happy cause of their cute little quirks. Sickening stuff
Also mark rober is deleting my comments on his insta where all I am is educating people. Why? Cause he's a coward
So I have just lost faith in a lot of people, I actually held dear to my heart and the reason for it is still trending on youtube.
So Mark Rober is currently telling the whole world, that his son is autistic. This, while this kid is way too young to really grasp the implications of publishing delicate personal information, such as a medical diagnosis, all over the internet. I think it is reckless parenting to put your child in front of a camera like this.
But it's for a good cause, is it? I mean they support a charity ... "next for autism" what could possibly be wrong with that?
First and foremost, they don't have self advocates in any of their relevant boards, which is already a red flag. But they also have close links with a bunch of people, that are practicing ABA. So it is already looking pretty grim. But it get's worse.
Because you know, who is never far away, when autistic children get put in the spotlight for dubious reasons? I don't think I need to say their name ... but yeah: "next for autism" is endorsed by all of our favorite blue group and they've been doing collabs.
But don't dare to call them out: because people will either use autistic as a curse word against you or just call you a hater or in the best case ignore you ... and all of this is backed by a bunch of celebrities ... some of which i actually liked such as John Oliver and Mark Hamill.
Thousands of people called Mark Rober out over his event with N*XT For Autism and to see so much money they're making that won't even benefit autistic people and their requests for support just makes me sick to my stomach.
That organization along with other horrible non-autistic led orgs, use ABA therapy, which has roots to conversion therapy. Eugenicists taking money for their agenda to try and "cure" us. I'm so fucking mad and disgusted and the fact that he's deleting comments on his social media from autistic people saying this org is harmful is even more enraging.
The "concessions" that the org made didn't even address the actual problem of their orgs, and this whole youtube live is a DISASTER. Literally, Jack Black was doing ASMR for a fundraiser for people with sensory issues?!? What?!?
This whole event is so demoralizing.
I plan on taking the course over the summer. I understand that a arduino kit is necessary, but what other tools should I get? I have absolutely nothing. I understand that each project requires different things but Iβm afraid that once Iβm in the course and decide what Iβm doing, when I order the parts they wonβt arrive on time. Mark in his video said that you want your items to arrive as soon as possible. Also is this course the same as his other courses? Or is it new but the basics. So like he makes a new project etc.
Hopefully this is allowed.
Mark Rober, a respected content creator on YouTube released a video talking about his son who has autism. It's a personal story to him, one that led him to sit on this video for a couple of years before finally releasing it. You can find it by searching up the title I included in this post's title (looks like links aren't allowed on this sub).
I thought it was a hopeful and honest look into his son's life with a fundraising event attached with many famous and well-loved celebrities.
I'd be interested in knowing what y'all think of the video, charity, and upcoming event.

So yesterday I saw a comment on Mark Rober's instagram from Angie of Angie and Ruby saying the following
"I am very concerned that you used a video of my minor child in this fundraising video without asking for permission first. As a parent of a child with autism, you should understand how important it is to obtain consent in a situation like this. Remove Ruby from this video immediately."
which like. very big yikes.
I saw that Phillip Defranco / his show covered the Mark Rober situation and I tweeted a screenshot of the comment at him. Angie replied to my tweet and said she could no longer find the comment and that he must have deleted it. more yikes.
I barely use my twitter and have like 3 followers so I figured I'd link it here:
