I love the name Mara, but I feel itβs too close to my nieces name to use (Myah). Also my son goes to school with a Mara. Iβm wondering what names you can think of with a similar feel/style to Mara?
A friend wants the info on this jacket they found at a vintage store (in italy if that helps?). Label says "Weekend by Max Mara", it's a navy mid length jacket with a zip + buttons. Has a nova check style collar.

It means 'bitter' in Hebrew, which fits whatever emotional state I'm in right now. I honestly feel uneasy seeing my classmates I've known for yrs dating someone else I've also known for around that long. Envy might apply, but not completely.
I am just sad. Sad of being left out because they are now invested in a relationship with each other. Sad since I don't need playmates, but actual friends -- most people I've known got real friends, usually several, and some even have a boyfriend/girlfriend at this age. It bothers me that I know how people feel about each other & feel about telling things to me, but I can't say out loud what I believe about how they're feeling.
But knowing that all their friends know about the nature and cause of their relationship while I'm completely being left out hits a toll on my mental state. I always have a withdrawn, constantly up-and-down relationship with my family members for most of my life. I never had real friends. I spent most of my time by myself watching other people what I can do to have what they have. And can you believe it, that I caught feelings for another person but that someone else already like them and they don't like me at all? -- it's not a crush, but a deeper sentiment. If it was a crush, it wouldn't pain me like this.
I've always being emotionally volatile, have poor auditory comprehension despite having good hearing, distant & cold from people despite being hypertalkative, easily distracted, overly reactive, unmotivated, easily upset, paranoid, easily triggered by certain visuals & sounds, have moments of being disconnected from reality, have periods of being low & then happy (though not extreme) and use words like a knife. I've tried several times with therapy, but I don't have the energy nor human connection to try to get it out.
Hitting me with a wooden rod and punch me near the liver hurt less (happened before) hurt less than this.
I thought I would want to be named Luna but I rewatched she ra and now Iβm realising that Mara is a pretty cool name so Iβd like to try that out
This name is not unusual among American Jews, and comes from the Torah (the name Naomi, mother of Ruth takes for herself). I understand that it literally means bitter and that ΧΧ¨Χ means bile. So I am curious how it would sound to Hebrew speakers. Does anyone have this name in Israel? Does it sound strange?

- Speculative...but at this point, keeping Judge will limit the chances of landing a really good GM.
Additionally I think he's become really cheap. He won't change the turf, keeps it all internal because it's cheaper, and the medium Pepsi thing was ridiculous.
I never want to see the Giants organization without the Mara name attached...but the old man has to change his ways.
