SafaI deleted Safari on Mac OS Mojave. Could somebody please give a download link. I already know that reinstalling the system will bring back Safari but i don't really want to reinstall Mac OS.

basically title. Crashes without warning. Seems like it happens when there’s too much stuff loaded on the app after scrolling for a bit, (~20mins use) but sometimes it happens within 5mins of use (e.g. when scrolling through vid). Like a half-second lag, then the app exits with option to report and reopen. Never really had this happen on iOS, iPadOS or even on my old MacBook Air. Would reporting help?

i know this is probably lower on the priority pole (after all it is first and foremost an iOS app I guess) but it’s odd because it worked just fine on my old MacBook Air. Hoping for a fix soon, love the app; it’s made scrolling on the web version unbearable haha.

App version: 1.12 OS: macOS Monterrey 12.0.1 -> updated to 12.1, still same issue M1 Pro (10-core cpu) 16 in mbp Reproducibility: random, seems like a memory overload but idk much about computing. It’s pretty spotty, and I think chances go up of crashing the more I load by scrolling. BUT it’s happened at least 10 times since yesterday when I began using the app on this device.

DualSense PS5 controller is only compatible with Big Sur and up Dualshock ps4 controller is compatible with catalina and up.

Hey guys. I'm having trouble with Steam at the moment. When I open it, it immediately closes itself again. Sometimes I get an apple notification telling me "steam quit unexpectedly" but never a notification from steam. I've tried restarting my computer, because steam is set to open automatically on launch, and steam DOES open then, but only for the briefest of seconds before immediately closing itself again. I'm uncertain on what to do and any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using a 2017 MacBook with macOS Mojave. Thanks!

Edit: Just discovered I am also no longer able to access any of the games I've purchased through steam, which is a lot, so again any help would be appreciated

I own a pretty old macbook pro (MacOS Mojave version 10.14.6). It's a little outdated, which is starting to get inconvenient, so I opted to update it. Problem is, when I tried to install the MacOS Monterey update, it said that my hard drive isn't formatted in APFS, so I couldn't install the update. (See below)

Is it a good idea to try to convert my Macintosh HD hard drive to an APFS format or is my computer too old/a lost cause?

Hi all, I started a trial of Syncro today and am testing on Windows/macOS. I have installed successfully on a few Macs running newer versions of macOS but two running Mojave (10.14.6) do not show Syncro in the Full Disk Access window even if I close it and click the button again.

I tried browsing to find Syncro myself but can't find it anywhere, is there a workaround?

I wanted to get into this game but was hoping someone can confirm if "macOS 10.15 or later" was a hard requirement or soft one. I meet all the other specs but frankly Mojave is just more reliable so I have avoided upgrading to 10.15 Catalina and beyond.

I ask because there are a few games that require 10.15 but run on 10.14. Especially Apple Arcade games...

Today I dug a Macintosh SE out of storage, booted it up, and although a bit slow and loud, it’s working. The only non-functional item is the keyboard, unfortunately. Anyway, the objective:

Moving documents off the Mac SE to a modern Mac running Mojave.

How in the hell does this get done?

There’s a lot of documents on the SE that I’d like to save, but I don’t know where to start. The one thing I have that could possibly help is a modem for the SE (though I have yet to test it). I was wondering if it could possibly be as simple as connecting the modem to the modern Mac through Ethernet?

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

I am stuck on MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) for a while. Will upgrading to iOS 15 cause any issues with apps/features that work with MacOS (e.g. podcast syncing, hand off, reminders etc). I'd love to hear from anyone who is using iOS 15 with Mac OS 10.14.

Whilst it does suck that there was a lack of an obvious pre-warning (some staff have said it has been on the website's FAQ section for quite a while now), the good news is that pretty much all of the Mac models that could play the game with the previous minimum requirement of macOS 10.13 High Sierra can upgrade to macOS 10.14 Mojave for free, so realistically there are no real issues here.

This is likely why your game instantly crashes and re-opens the launcher as soon as you login.

Hey everyone, I'm a sysadmin in a primarily Windows environment so my experience with MacOS is relatively limited.

One of our design guys has a 15" 2017 Pro that was bugging out, he talked to Apple over the phone and they had him make a Time Machine back up onto a brand new WD Passport drive and reinstall the OS.

However, when he went to restore the Time Machine back up, the drive appears to not be mounting properly. It does shows up as grayed out in Disk Utility, but both Mount and First Aid throw errors.

The drive shows up on my Windows machine perfectly fine. Any ideas what to try next? Thanks!

Edit: I used my colleague's MacBook Pro running Big Sur to check if the drive shows up, and it mounts normally with his Time Machine back up on there, so I don't think the drive is corrupt.. strange

Edit2: Formatted a spare drive I had laying around with APFS and copied the contents of the Passport over, looks like its now recognized by the user's Mac. I'm tempted to say he unplugged it without ejecting during a write operation or something, but it's all good now! Cheers.
