A list of puns related to "M83 (band)"
A band I play with, Proto Sky, plays a mix of early Metallica-influenced thrash and M83/Prince-inspired synth rock (strange, I knowβbut it works). Theyβre looking for a drummer.
Right now itβs two guitarists, a bass player and a vocalist, with their own practice space and an in-house drum kit.
Anyways, hereβs a YouTube link to some of their stuff: https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_l2JKprcf2qI5Z3yUmKvb4aluNRq3UoEXg
FYIβTheir newer stuff is much heavier and thrash-ier; everyoneβs influenced by a lot of the heavier bands. (Testament, MotΓΆrhead, etc).
We practice about 2 times a week and are looking to make the upcoming shows a big deal. If youβd like to jam, feel free to give me a shout back. If not no worries! Thanks for your time.
As 2 producers we are always looking for interesting projects and collaborations to explore our sound further we've worked with Deja Blu on a previous release.

Iβm looking for more dreamt, sweet, wistful, and slightly melancholic pop like this, especially with a slightly retro electronic vibe. Got any suggestions?
M83 is my favourite band of all time with their albums Red Seas.., and HUWD both being one of my fav albums ever. Are there any other bands like M83?
My favorite bands are:
M83
Wild Nothing
Gorillaz
MGMT
Beach House
BASICALLY I really like music with depth, meaning, synth-heavy, harmonious.
Some examples:
"Safe" by M83 I love the combination of clean voice, calm piano with the synth noises in the background
"Secrets" by The Bilinda Butchers I love the synth sound that plays throughout the song, as well as the fading distorted voices in the background
"I Love You Too, Death" by MGMT I like the combination of acoustic instruments with the distorted voice and synth sounds in the distant background
"Dancing Shell" by Wild Nothing The beginning of the song greatly describes what I seek, dragging synth sounds with clean, calm, harmonious vocals
I also really like: Interpol, Vampire Weekend, The XX, Passion Pit and Gold Panda; though I'm looking for something more related to the first 5 bands I mentioned.

> So proud of my brother Yann Gonzalez! His film βUn Couteau Dans Le Coeur (Knife+Heart) will compete at the 71st Film Festival in Cannes. The soundtrack by M83 is out later this year and working again with Nicolas Fromageau on this project reminded me how talented my friend is.
Anthony & Nicolas created the band's debut album and Dead cities, red seas & lost ghosts.
I Need You by M83 , SpaceSong by BH, Myth by BH songs are songs I absolutely live for. Does anyone have any other artists or Songs that give off that same energy/vibe as the three songs I listed? Itβs so so hard to find more and I only stumbled upon those goods ones every so often. Thanks!
Hi.
So obviously not M83 but I am positive their name was very similar to this.
Sounds like a typical Arctic Monkeys indie type of style.
The video for the song I am remembering had the band in the living room of a house , standing in a circle singing the song while facing each other. All of them are happy and smiling/laughing at each other?
I remember someone sharing this video on Facebook approximately 7 years ago. The band weren't big and this was probably their only relatively small known song.
The whole band looked quite young, maybe 19 - 23 age range.
can you buy super hi res audio of their albums online because the maximum Iβve found is 44/16 on Apple Music and HDTracks. is there anything higher (e.g. 192/24)?
For reference (and additional guidance), I saw the previous Midnight City thread, but didn't like most songs suggested. Exceptions that I liked: MGMT's stuff (Time to Pretend especially) and Miami Horror - All It Ever Was
Ive grown to really love this song, i donβt think Beach House has ever quite made a song like this before and I was wondering why I enjoyed it so much and I think its because the second half makes me think of another one of my other favorite artists M83. I was just curious if anyone else had felt that way or am I just being silly?
Just an amazing album it just all aligns so well. Iβm going through all types of emotion right man.
