A list of puns related to "List of Texas hurricanes (1980βpresent)"
My laptop doesn't have much hard drive space, but it's my only computer when I'm out and about, and I love having Formula 1 races playing in the background while I'm doing things.
Help me decide which races should I throw on it!
7:15pm CDT: It is getting dark in Louisiana, and most live streamers on the ground are done for the day. Only a few remain. I'm no longer going to be updating this thread.
News and commentary streams will likely continue after dark, so if you're looking for updates after this, go to the Local TV section.
Storm Chasers on the ground still live as of 7:15pm:

Stay safe and stay informed, everyone!
PS: Inflatable Frog Fish Camp Cam is still amazingly broadcasting, though Captain Ahab (the inflatable frog) has taken to the high seas. Godspeed, Ahab!: https://www.twitch.tv/radkemack
Howdy-ho, fellow hurricane watchers! Iβve been gathering links over the last day for live streams, and thought it might be nice to paste my little notepad file into a megathread so we can all use this reference.
Iβve been breaking them out by type, as I usually prefer individual streamers, but sometimes that connection is lost so news or static cam it is.
If you have any other links, please feel free to leave in the comments, and Iβll edit them into the main post ASAP.
Stay safe everyone!!! And please stay respectful to the streamers and residents that may have not had the means or ability to leave.
Last of all, for my fellow elder alumni, pour one out for Ditch Car. Kyle will not be attending this weather event, may we all take that blessing for exactly what it is!

I don't remember any movies he's been in. He has short gray hair, white caucasian (might be hispanic but I doubt it) and his skin looks slightly tanned. He might have had dark eyebrows too but I'm not sure.
I think he has played a role or multiple roles where he wears a microphone like an agent in a van or in situations where he gets sweaty from stress (like defusing a bomb but not defusing a bomb). I also think he played a scene (might be the same movie) where he was wearing some tactical spy gear and was lowered down somewhere with a rope to do some hacking or something, like Oceans Eleven style, except he's the good guy.
Please help!

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a surface trough over southern Texas which has been producing flooding rains over the past couple of days. Satellite and radar imagery from Brownsville indicate that this disturbance has been producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
Development of this system is not expected because it is over land. However, heavy rainfall and flash flooding is possible along the Texas Gulf coast over the next few days. Please consult with local National Weather Service offices for further details and the Weather Prediction Center for quantitative precipitation forecasts.

I mean if they have good security measures in place I donβt care if they are in a hurricane region or not but I think you get the point.

Different places have different climates. In Texas it's hot most of the time. In Minnesota it's cold most of the time. In Minnesota it snows several feet a year. In Texas snow is infrequent and almost always melts the next day. In Texas there are major hurricanes most years. In Minnesota there's never been a hurricane.
I live in the mountains of California at 6,000 feet up. Around here it snows about 25 feet a year on average. Two weeks ago we had a storm where it snowed 6 feet in 48 hours. We all got a damn good workout from doing a fuck ton of shoveling the snow out of our driveways, but all the roads, even small residential side roads were plowed before the storm even ended, and for most people life went on as usual. You don't see me laughing at the east coast when the power goes out and cities shut down for 18 inches of snow, or making fun of their suffering and drinking their tears or all this dramatic performative bull shit I'm seeing.
You would think people would understand that different places have different climates that result in different frequencies of various events, and that the things they prioritize protecting against are different as a result. I guarantee you these people would not be laughing so hard if they got hit by a category 4 hurricane. It's also real rich coming from the same people who lose their fucking minds when the temperature gets over 80 degrees. But that's all beside the point. What a fucking stupid and pathetic thing to cheer on other people's suffering over.
