A list of puns related to "Lamination (geology)"
[ADVANCE TOPIC]
If you fast forward to about 49 minutes into the video,

Dr. Austin describes something called "Ripple Lamination" which indicates the sediments in the fossil record were laid down by horizontally flowing sediments and water over a short time vs. sediments slowly falling down vertically over millions of years.
The earlier part of the video gives background to that amazing conclusion.
I'm working on a visualization tool that will help animate the sort of ideas (and more) that Dr. Austin is talking about.
He describes things like Stokes Law, Kelvin Helmholtz instability, Boycott separation, and Flocculation, etc. If someone wants a serious argument for the youth of the fossil record and Noah's, this is a serious argument by a professor of Geology.

Iβve never gotten them done but I use brow gel but I was curious about doing an at home brow lamination? I donβt see any recent posts on here so I figured Iβd ask. Any you would recommend? Any βrisksβ associated with it?
Hi,
i started a sticker business and Iβve gotten my cut settings down for the most part.
Currently, Iβm using a new Cameo 4 to die cut stickers printed on Online Labels matte weatherproof sticker paper, which has been laminated with Royal Elements Glossy Lamination Sheets.
These are common materials Iβve heard about on many sticker shop tutorials.
Would anyone care to share your cut settings? I have a feeling mine could use a bit more work. And i dont want to keep wasting material or having jagged/rough edges which I get sometimesβ¦
Currently Iβm using the following:
Cardstock - Textured Heavy 80lb (i think) Blade depth - 10 Passes - 2 Force - 31 Speed - 3
Unfortunately the company is closed until the 10th and we are grasping at straws trying to find a set for Sonny. I hate to see this guy in pain, we are using shoes now but really need a set of soft rides 5long or 6long. If anyone can help, I donβt know where else I can look, thank you.
I (27F) PhD candidate in geology, who studies structural geology and plate tectonics, had a tinder date (30-ish M) lecture me on tectonics for over an hour and then post-date sent me several 10+ minute videos of quacks on Joe Rogan talking about how everything we know about geology is wrong. Bro, know your audience. I do this for a living.
Edit for FAQs: since I keep getting comments. I am a PhD candidate, not student. Its the end of your PhD when you have passed your qualifiers you are no longer a student and just do research. Also, in most sciences in the USA, we get paid to be PhD students and candidates. We get tuition, a living stipend, and are employees. I'm in my last 6 months and working as a research fellow, so it's my profession. Not just school.
Geography is where itβs at
My eyebrow hairs have always faced downwards, they're also sparse at the tail ends so they always end up looking crap and out of shape. On a day to day basis when I'm not really wearing make up it's always drove me insane how crap they look unless I put product in them. Also I haven't found a good eyebrow gel that keeps them up for long periods.
A few weeks ago I got an at home brow lamination kit and it's the best thing ever! My hairs now face the right direction and keep their shape. The kit didn't cost much and there's enough for plenty more applications. It's been 2 weeks so far and they've stayed in place.
It's such a small thing, but it's improved my mood and made me so happy!
...really seems to have a lot of faults
What brand do you like to use for brow laminations? I was taught with Lash Stuff but I wasnβt a big fan so Iβm interested in trying a new brand.
