On a random day, suddenly, all the water that used to make up the old now drained Texcoco lake in central Mexico reappears in its historical basin. What would be the ramifications of this?

So I was trying to do some achievements for fun. After meeting all requirements I was not awarded with the achievement.
In the top right corner you can see I've built the floating gardens. There is a lake in my radius. No mods are enabled. Anybody have advice?
