A list of puns related to "Jurassic World Dominion"
I personally enjoyed the previous two Jurassic World films. I don't consider them masterpieces, and I wouldn't even call them "great" movies. For me, they're heavily flawed but dumb fun movies I watch when I'm down or bored.
However the same can't be said for everyone else, wether their memebers of the JP fanbase or general audiences and critics.
The two Jurassic World movies had many flaws. The first suffered from overeliance on nostalgia, and dull characters. The second suffered from numerous plot holes, dumb desicions, and a weird tone that switches from big budget summer blockbuster to independent gothic horror. The one problem that both films had was that they copied too much from the original trilogy.
Jurassic World and Jurassic Park have several obvious differences. The modern setting, the park is now fully fuctional, a hybrid dinosaur which acts more like a sadistic monster than an actual animal, and trained Velociraptors. However the story is still basically the first movie, which is several individuals find themselves trapped on a themepark full of dinosaurs. The characters can also be seen as copies from characters of the first. Owen Grady is a composite character of Alan Grant and Ian Malcom. The male lead who is a snarky dinosaur expert with an obsession. Ellie Sattler is a composite character between Ellie Sattler and John Hammond. The female lead dressed in white who obsesses over buisness and ratings but eventually grows beyond that mindset, becoming an advocate for the preservation of dinosaurs in the second film. Zach and Grey are basically the same characters as Lex and Time with the only difference being the older Sibling is male. Both are kid appeal characters sent to the park after their parents plan on divorcing. There are also scenes reminiscent of iconic scenes in the first film. The Indominus Rex's attack on the gyrosphere is heavily remeniscent of the T-Rex breakout in the first movie. The dying Apatasaurus scene can be seen by some as similar to the sick Triceratops scene. The final showdown between the Indominus Rex and T-Rex is also similar to the climax of the first movie with the T-Rex and Velociraptors.
Now onto Fallen Kingdom. The similarities between this film and The Lost World are even more apparent. Both have pretty much the same story. Naturalists go on an expedetion to preserve the dinosaurs while a corrupt buisnessman and his mercenaries exploit them for profit, eventually both the characters and the dinosaurs

Itβs alive! Jurassic World: Dominion is finally completed as the post-production process has just been wrapped. Colin Trevorrow shared a photo of a screen at Skywalker Sound as the last details of the sound mix has been added yesterday. The first trailer is expected to come in the coming weeks and now that the movie is complete, marketing campaign is certainly going to kick off ASAP.

What aspect of the film are you most looking forward to?
For me, itβs all the scenarios of the dinosaurs, specifically Velociraptors, roaming freely around human populationsβ¦.
Nightmare stuff. Canβt wait!
According to IMDB, upcoming Universalβs Jurassic World: Dominion had a 165 million dollar estimated budget, 5 million less than its prequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (170 million dollars). Isnβt it strange that the final movie of the trilogy, which is said to be the biggest so far in terms of scale, cast members, plot and even in terms of mere runtime, had a smaller budget available than Fallen Kingdom? What could this mean in terms of general quality of the movie? Is Universal underestimating the revenue potential this movie could have? Please share your thoughts down below!

Big fan of this guy, I'm glad he was the one to helm the franchise. You can tell he really does care deply about it.
People that have already seen the movie say that the current cut of Jurassic World: Dominion is 155β, about 2 hours and 35 minutes long. The current cut is subject to changes.
Jurassic Park - 2hr 7min
TLW: Jurassic Park - 2hr 9min
Jurassic Park 3 - 1hr 32min
Jurassic World - 2hr 4min
Jurassic World FK - 2hr 9min
Jurassic World Dominion - 2hr 35min
JWD will be the longest movie in the franchise.
While 165m is listed on Wikipedia and IMDb, it is 200m according to the NYT and 225m according to Times Malta. It is meant to be act as a "finale" to the franchise, and even if JWFK underperformed compared to JW, it wouldn't be far-fetched to think that Universal has invested a lot into this film.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 65%. (I'm a bot)

> Jurassic World: Dominion just gave a glimpse at its newest star: DeWanda Wise.
> In a first look at her currently unnamed character posted by the official Jurassic World Twitter account on Friday, Wise poses alongside costar Chris Pratt.
> While Wise is making her Jurassic World debut with the upcoming film, Pratt is returning to Jurassic World: Dominion after previously starring in Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
> Jurassic World: Dominion comes nearly 30 years after the first Jurassic Park film premiered in 1993.
> Neill, 74, previously teased that Jurassic World: Dominion was going to be a "Big film." Speaking to Variety in February, Neill said, "It's going be a big film. [Director] Colin Trevorrow has that childlike sense of wonder, playfulness and inventiveness that [Steven] Spielberg has," he said, referring to the original Jurassic Park director.

According to Jurassic Outpost, the official prologue for Jurassic World Dominion is set to be aired on NBC after "The Voice" this Tuesday, November 23rd. While this is a good news for all those who didnβt have the chance to see the preview this summer during the IMAX screenings of F9, we wonβt probably see a proper trailer showing the cast (Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard) and giving some hints at the story, until February 2022, presumably during Super Bowl.
Any word on how much of Jurassic World Dominion will have IMAX expanded ratio. They just released the 5 minute intro online and seemed to all be in IMAX.
So far, it seems like Dominion will introduce absolute HORDES of new dinosaurs. Ive also heard that Universal could make a live-action Jurassic tv show after Dominion. So I think its possible for most of the new dinosaurs introduced in the movie could function mostly as just Easter eggs, and will actually be able to take the spotlight in a new tv show. Do you think this is possible?

According to Swrve, the first official trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion, will drop between the end of November and the beginning of December. Thatβs because the marketing campaign for Dominion, which is due to come out on June 10th in the US and on June 8th/9th in Europe, will start about 200 days before the scheduled release date. The first day that falls under the 200 days mark is in fact November 22nd. Mind that the same thing happened for Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom, which were released on June 11th, 2015 and June 6th, 2018 (UK release dates) respectively. So If the calculations are correct, we should indeed expect a trailer by the end of November, specifically the 22nd at earliest.

As a lot of you may know, Jurassic World: Dominion is set to be released on June 10th, 2022 with a first trailer supposedly coming in a couple of months or even less. However, @ChrisLikesDinos from Jurassic Outpost recently discovered a trademark filled by Universal, related to a βJurassic World dayβ which is going to be called βLife Finds a Dayβ. A few months ago, a huge leak containing story details for Dominion, included details about the beginning of the marketing campaign for the movie, stating that Season 4 of Camp Cretaceous βwill open up JWD's marketing through a special eventβ. As of now, a lot of those leaks have turned out to be true and this recent discovery adds up to it. Also, actress DeWanda Wise shared on her Instagram a photo taken from the Houston Museum of Natural Science, where cast could have been filming promo stuff for the movie. In addition, the museum has been set up for this particular occasion with Dominionβs logo. Take a look here:
